Lloyd Neeb born North Easthope township 82 years ago and latterly lived in Waterloo. Son of the late Milton Neeb and the former Ellen Cook. Lloyd loved and was a respected farmer and gardener in Waterloo County until illness forced his retirement. A dedicated member of the Zion Lutheran Church, St Agatha and with his wife Erma also worshipped at St James Lutheran Church, Mannheim.

Beloved husband of Erma Neeb (nee Klie); loving father and father-in-law of Bill and Isabel Neeb of Brantford and Betty and Jerome Futher of Mannheim, cherished grandfather of Jane and Dave Weeden, George Neel) and Pau and Terry Futher and great-grandfather of Derek and Daniel Weeden; loving brother and brother-in-law of Arlene and Carl Allemang of Niagara Falls, Marion and John Lindner and Elmer Neeb, all of New Hamburg. Will be sadly missed by his extended family, David and Jennifer Neeb, Karen Dietrich, Stewart and Phyllis Dahmer, Virginia and John McDonald, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by Betty and Bill's mother and Lloyd's first wife, Mildred Neeb (nee Doering); his second wife, Myrtle Neeb (nee Dubrick) and his brothers, Mervyn and Eric Neeb and Myrtle's son, Wayne Dahmer. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday), where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 1 p.m. on Friday transfer will be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Kitchener for funeral services at 3 p.m., Rev. Donald Stewart assisted by Rev.-James Slack and Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, St. Agatha.

STRATFORD- Milton Henry -- Neeb, 79, of 275 Wellington St.,- Stratford, died Tuesday in Stratford Hospital.

He was born in North Easthope Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Neeb. He farmed in the Hampstead area for 36 years and moved to Stratford in 1949. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ella Cook, whom he married in 1912; three sons, Lloyd of RR 1, St. Agatha, Mervyn of Waterloo and Elmer of RR 3, New Hamburg: two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Arlene) Allemang of Niagara Falls, Ont., Mrs. John (Marion) Lindner of RR 1, Gadshill; two brothers, Jacob of Shakespeare and Albert of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. Vincent (Lydia) Epp of Tavistock and 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Eric, in 1991 and three brothers.

The body will be at the Heinbuck funeral Home, 158 Albert St., Stratford, until Thursday at 11 a.m. when removal will be made to Zion Lutheran Church for the funeral at 2.30 p.m. Burial will be in St. James' Lutheran Church Cemetery. North Easthope Township.

Milton married Ella Margaret Cook 1912. Ella was born 24 Mar 1891, of, Stratford, Perth Co., Ontario; died 5 Oct 1981; was buried , Saint James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Mennonite Corner, Perth County, Ontario, Canada. [Group Sheet]
