ROBERT A. BOWMAN

PRESTON, Jan. 2— Ailing for the past three years, Robert A. Bowman, 50, a resident here for 25 years, died at Galt Hospital last evening. Born in Paisley, Scotland, Mr. Bowman came to Canada 30 years ago directly to Galt. He followed his trade of custom tailoring there for about five years and then started work at Savage shoe Company in Preston where he was employed until the time of his death. Diseaced was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Preston. Surviving is his wife, a daughter, Edith, at home, four brothers, James and William of Galt, George in Hamilton and Thomas of Johannesburg, South Africa, two sisters, Nellie and Mrs. Fred Gill, both of Oakville. Remain are at the home, 924 Hamilton Street, where service will take place on Saturday at 2: 30 pm. Interment will be made in Preston Cemetery.
