    Ezra C. Pfeffer

    Ezra C. Pfeffer, 57, of 17 Regina St. South, Waterloo, died suddenly Sunday at his home. He suffered a heart attack.

    A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pfeffer, he was born May 2, 1904, in Carrick, Township, and lived in the Twin City area for the past 40 years. Am employee at Sehl Engineering Ltd., he was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

    He is survived by his wife the former Martha Olbrecht whom he married June 14, 1930 in Kitchener, two sons, Wayne and Russell, both of Waterloo two brothers, Clarence and Edward, both of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Ezra (Lorene) Voelzing of Kitchener; one grand
    son.

    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Wednesday noon when removal will be made to the chapel of St. Matthew's Church.

    The funeral wil be conducted at the chapel at 3:pm, by Rev. F. W. Zinck. Burial will be in Memory Gardens. Donations to the K-W Rotary Children's Centre will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.

    Henry Pfeffer - Henry Pfeffer, 78, of 640 Queen St. South, died early yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Pfeffer was born in Normanby Twp., April 27, 1870, and moved to Kitchener 30 years ago. In his youth he was an enthusiastic participant in football and lacrosse in Walkerton. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. His father, George Pfeffer, and mother, the former Dora Miller, predeceased him. His first wife, Wilhelmine Gerhardt died Sept. 25, 1921, his second wife, Wilhelmina Schaus, surviving.

    Also surviving are three sons, Clarence, Ezra, and Edward, all of Kitchener; three stepsons, John Garfield, and Armand Schaus, all of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Ezra (Lorraine) Voelzing, Kitchener; four step-daughters, Mrs. Clara (Eliza) Ziegler, Mrs. Carl (Hilda) Bindernagel, Mrs. Alfred (Maude) Bindernagel, all of Kitchener; Mrs. Frank (Elmeta) Arnold, Hamilton; three brothers, Valentine, Kitchener; William, Elbow, Sask.; Louis, Swift Current, Sask.; and four grandchildren.

    Public service will be held at 2: 30 pm, Tuesday, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, with Rev. H.H. Schneider, New Dundee, officiating. The body will rest at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home until 1 pm, Tuesday, when removal will be made to the church. Burial will take place in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.

    The death took place on Sunday morning of Mrs. Henry Pfeffer beloved wife of Mr. Henry Pfeffer, 205 Queen street south, at the home of Mr. Valentine Pfeffer, Hanover. The funeral arrangements as yet have not been arranged.
