Lichti; dear husband of Carrie Lantz; father of Abner of Route 1, Gadshill, Arlene (Mrs. Lloyd Bast) of Wellesley, Anna Mae (Mrs. Sam Roth) of Sarasota, Fla., Alice Marie (Mrs. Amos Gascha) of Brunner, Anetta (Mrs. Arold Erb) of Route 2, Wellesley; ;brother of Amos of Waterloo and Manassah, Veronica (Mrs. Allen Bender) of Wellesley, Lena (Mrs. Christ Gerber) of Crosshill, Martha (Mrs. Allen Leis) of Listowel, Emma (Mrs. Erin Gerber) of Crosshill; also survived by 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; predeceased by two brothers.

    LICHTI, Mrs. Peter (Carrie) - Peacefully, on Friday, Oct. 2, 1992, at her home, Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, Mrs. Carrie E. Lichti, formerly of Millbank.

    Carrie was born in Topeka, Ind., 90 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Philip Lantz and the late Barbara Shrock. Mrs. Lichti was a member of the Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church.

    Beloved mother of Abner and his wife Eva Lichti of RR 1, Gads Hill, Arlene Bast of Milverton, Anna Mae and her husband Samuel Roth of Sarasota, Fla., Alice Marie and her husband Amos Gascho of Brunner and Anetta and her husband Arnold Erb of RR 1, Wellesley. Lovingly re- membered by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by her husband, Peter Z. Lichti, June 24, 1973 and also by four brothers, Edward, Ezra, Enos and Earl; one sister, Clara and son- in-law, Lloyd Bast, December 6, 1984.

    Visitation at Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Tuesday, Oct. 6, removal will be made to the Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Maple View Mennonite Cemetery, RR 2, Wellesley.

    Memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy, for the late Carrie Lichti.

    LICHTI, Peter F. 1958

    Peter F. Lichti, R.R. 2 Wellesley, died Saturday, May 3, at the home of his son, Peter Z. Lichti. He was 96 years of age, and had not been in good health for some time. Born Nov. 7, 1861, in Wilmot township, he was a son of the late Joseph and Magdalena Fahrney Lichti. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Maple View Amish Mennonite Church. His wife, the former Magdalena Zehr, died in 1945. He is survived by four sons, Christian Z., Millbank; Amos, Waterloo; Peter Z., Wellesley; Manasseh, in the United States; four daughters, Mrs. Allen (Fannie) Bender, Wellesley; Mrs. Christian (Lena) Gerber, Crosshill; Mrs. Allen (Martha) Leis, Milverton; Mrs. Aaron (Emma) Gerber, Crosshill. One son died in infancy. Fifty grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren also survive. The body rested at the home of his son, Peter Lichti, Wellesley, where a service was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at Maple View Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. with Bishop Christian Streicher officiating. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Christian Lantz

    Linwood, Dec. 26.-Following an illness of about eight years, Christian Lantz passed away at his home here early yesterday morning. A son of the late Henry Lantz and Margaret Schwindt, he was born in Mornington June 11, 1867, and was 74 years of age at death. Mr. Lantz conducted a butcher business in Linwood for more than 40 years. He was married in 1899 to Mary Koehler. His wife predeceased him in August 1938. He is survived by two sons, Elton of Kitchener and Harry of Linwood, one daughter, Mrs. John Koenig, west of Linwood, two brothers, George of Hesson and Henry of Linwood, one sister, Mrs. Margaret Ritter of Waterloo and three grandchildren. Private funeral service will be conducted at the family residence Sunday at 2 p.m. following by public service at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Rev. Alvin Schweitzer will officiate. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery.

    LINWOOD, Aug. 25 - Ill for the past year, Mrs. Christian Lantz, 67, of Linwood, died at her residence early today.

    Born at Wellesley, deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koehler.

    She was married to Christian Lantz in Wellesley in 1899 and had resided in Linwood since then.

    Mrs. Lantz was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church.

    Surviving are her husband, two sons, Elton and Harry, both of Linwood, one daughter, Anna, Mrs. John Koenig Jr., of Linwood, two sisters, Mrs. N. Westcott and Mrs. M. Faulhaufer, both of Wellesley, two brothers, Henry of Linwood and Edward of Kitchener.

    Two sisters, two brothers and one son predeceased her.

    Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon from the residence at 2 p.m. to St. Peter's Lutheran church for services at 2:30 o'clock with interment in Linwood Cemetery.
    Rev. W. Schultz will officiate.

He was a preacher for a number of years in the Amish Mennonite congregation at Wellesley, Ont. He had been in failing health for a number of years. Funeral services were held at his home Aug. 1, 1928.
