DUENCH, William Albert (Bill) The family sadly announces the passing of Bill at Trinity Village Care Centre on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, age 90 years. Born in Linwood, Ontario and had been retired from the Engineering Department of the University of Waterloo and a founding member of Chicopee Ski Club. Beloved husband of Lee (Leonora) nee Stadnik. Loving father of Robert (Anastasia) of St. Jacobs and Richard of Pemberton, B.C. Dear grandfather of Alexander. Bill will be fondly remembered by family and friends and a a dear friend and caregiver Joan Cowcill. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Duench and two sisters, Bernice and Dawn. Bill's family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street S., Kitchener, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 2: 00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Mother of William of Kitchener; sister of Ramsey Gaines of Toronto and Victoria (Mrs. Henry Steinacker) of Wellesley. Also survived by two grandsons, Robert and Richard.
