    FUNERAL OF MR. A. LOCKHART

    Despite the stormy weather, many attended the funeral services of Mr. A. Lockhart at his residence, 41 Cherry street this morning at 8.30. The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Bradley, assisted by Revds Andrews and Marshall. The funeral then proceeded to the G.T.R. station and the body was taken to Toronto oft the 9.34 train. The service at the grave was conducted by Rev. Mr. Geggie of Dunn Ave., Presbyterian church, which the deceased had attended for many years.

    The chief mourners were the widow, the two daughters, Nellie and Mina, the four sons, Alex, Jack, Tom and Archie and a cousin, Mrs. Crawford of Ottawa. The pallbearers were Messrs Hall, Carrick, Lochead, Lippert, Dolan and Richmond. The many beautiful flowers showed the esteem and sympathy in which the family is held. There was a pillow from the family, an anchor from Mr. G D. Richmond, a pillow from Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Dolan, sprays from Mr. and Mrs. C. Carrick, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Houston, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. O. Lochcad, Miss Wright, Galt; and the local branch of the A.F. & A. M.

    MRS. A. LOCKHART PASSES AWAY IN GALT IN 75TH YEAR

    The death took place last Thursday in Galt of Margaret Reid, relict of the late Archibald Lockhart, after an illness of a few months. The deceased was born in Scotland about 75 years ago and came to Canada 24 years ago. She lived in Toronto for several years, and then moved to this city living here until seven years ago when she moved to Galt. She is survived by a family of four sons and two daughters, namely, James R., Pembroke: Robert. California: Archibald and Alexander of Kitchener; Nellie, at home, Mrs. Lindsay, Buffalo N.Y., An other son, Capt. Thomas Lockhart. was killed in action in France on April 22nd, 1915. The deceased was highly esteemed by a a wide circle of friends..who will sympathize with the family in their sore bereavement. The funeral to place on Saturday morning from Galt to Toronto by motor. A service will be held at the House In Galt on Friday evening at 8 o'clock.
