A. E. GIVES.

In very few places can be found so thoroughly equipped a repair shop as that of Mr. A. E. Gives. As he puts it in his hearty way, "I do general repairing--anything from a needle to a threshing machine." And one can well believe it. His shop is equipped with lathes, forge, drill, polishing and grinding machines, the motive power being from a gasoline engine. Mr. Gives is equipped to do fine work of any description. Should it be an unusually difficult piece of repairing so much the better, he rather welcomes that. He is an experienced mechanic always confident of his ability. Before going into his present business two years ago, he was foreman of a machine shop. Painstaking, persistent, but withal good-natured, Mr. Gives pulls trade like a magnet.
