SCHWEITZER, Conrad Jacob\emdash Of 16 Hampton St., Elmira, passed away suddenly this morning at his home. Born in Alma Township 66 years ago; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schweitzer; husband of Esther Henning; father of David of Elmira; brother of Ruby (Mrs. Russell Wilken) of Elmira. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira, formerly of Yacton and Poole.
Committal service will be conducted at the Milverton cemetery chapel Saturday at 3 o'clock. Burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery, Milverton.

Mr. Martin Schweitzer of the 7th line of Mornington, who was seriously injured in a gravel pit, cave-in about four weeks ago, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, Sept. 1st, although everything that medical skill could devise and good nursing accomplish was exercised in the hope of saving his life. An opera-tion afforded temporary relief, but his internal organs were so badly bruised that nature was prevented from functioning. He is survived by his wife (nee Elizabeth Engel) and a family of two children, Ruby, aged about 17, and Conrad, about 13, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their severe affliction. Mr. Schweitzer was an industrious, hardworking and thrifty man and was held in very highest esteem by his neighbors. He was for a number of years elder in the Lutheran Church. He early demise is generally regretted by the community.

Mrs. Elizabeth Schweitzer - Elmira - Mrs. Elizabeth Schweitzer, 83, of Elmira, formerly of Poole, died at K-W Hospital Friday after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Poole and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Engel. Her husband, Martin, died in 1920. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Poole. Surviving are one son, Conrad of Yatton, a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Ruby) Wilken of Elmira; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Four sisters and one brother predeceased her. The family will be at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Monday noon when removal will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Pole, for service at 2: 30 pm. Rev. R. Reisdorf will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton. The casket will be open at the church from 1 pm until the service.
