    GEORGE W. BIEHN 1925 - 2006 Passed away, peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of Elva. Cherished father of Susan (Blaine) Doherty, David (Monica) Biehn and Robert (Nhora) Biehn. Proud grandfather of Ryan, Megan and Kevin Doherty and Laura and Matthew Biehn. Survived by his sister, Margaret (Raymond) Brisson. Predeceased by his brother, Stuart and sister-in-law, Doris. George was a long time employee of Bell Canada in both Ontario and Quebec. The memorial service to celebrate George's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home Chapel, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 3 p.m. Following the memorial service, friends are invited to join the family in the Funeral Home's Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit.Condolences for the family and donations to the CNIB can be arranged through the funeral home 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.comIn living memory of George, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.

    Biehn.-Delton Biehn was born in Waterloo, Co., Ont., Aug. 7, 1894; died at Guernsey, Sask., Sept. 21, 1936, after an illness of only a few days; aged 42 y. 1 m. 14 d. He was married to Magdelena Eby who preceded him in death 8 years ago. This union was blessed with 3 children (George, Stewart, and Margaret) who, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters of the deceased survive to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at the home and at the Sharon Mennonite Church with Bro. M. H. Schmitt and Bro. B. B. Weber in charge. The body was laid to rest in adjoining cemetery.

    Biehn. - Magdalena Eby Biehn, daughter of Reuben and Mary Ann Eby, was born Oct. 9, 1893, near Elmira, Ont.; died in a hospital at Watrous, Sask., Jan. 16, 1929; aged 35 y. 3 m. 7 d. She was united in marriage to Delton Biehn Mar. 29, 1924. She leaves to mourn her departure a sorrowing husband, 2 sons, and 1 daughter, an infant son having preceded her in death. She also leaves her parents, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and a number of other relatives and friends. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, uniting with the Mennonite Church and remaining faithful until death. Both home and church will keenly feel her loss, but we have the confidence that our loss is her eternal gain. Funeral services were held Jan. 20 at the home, and at the Sharon Mennonite Church, Guernsey, Sask., in charge of M. H. Schmitt and I. S. Rosenberger. Text, I Cor. 15: 54-57.     KENYON, Franklin A. - At the K-W Hospital, on Friday. Nov, 14, 1980, after a brief illness, Franklin Alexander Kenyon of 12 Macville Ave., Kitchener, aged 75 years.

    A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, and had been a truck driver for Reliable Transport and General Auto and Garage Supply, until his retirement in 1971.

    He is the husband of the former Olive Thomas; father of Robert of Edmonton, Franklin and Mrs. Leone Inman, both of Waterloo, Mrs. George (Elva) Bun and Mrs. James (Barbara) Hall, both of Kitchener; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. Saturday, until noon on Monday, when removal will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held from the church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eric Reble officiating. interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery

    Biehn was born Jan. 5, 1850, in Waterloo Co., Ont.; died of heart failure at his home near Guernsey, Sask., Dec. 20, 1927; aged 77 y. 11 m. 22 d. He was confined to his bed only a few days, although he had been suffering from congestion of the lungs for some time. He was a consistent member of the Mennonite Church. In 1879 he was married to Mary Cressman and resided on a farm near Freeport, Ont. In 1906 they moved to Guernsey, Sask., which has since been their home. He is survived by his widow, 5 sons, 2 daughters, and 1 foster granddaughter: namely, Mrs. Manassah Toman, Ervin, Milton, Mrs. Noah Weber, Alvin, Anthony, Delton, and Mrs. Addison Gingerich; also 23 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 20 at the Sharon Mennonite Church conducted by Bros M.H. Schmitt and I.S. Rosenberger. Text, I Cor. 15: 55-57. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
