    JANTZI, ALLEN On Saturday, Oct. 20, 1979, at his home, Allen Jantzi, of 69 Fourth Ave., Kitchener, and formerly of Wellesley.

    Born in Wellesley Township 53 years ago, he is the dear son of Ezra and Fannie Jantzi of Wellesley. He was employed at B. and W. Heat Treatment Company, Kitchener.

    Survived by his wife Eleanor and three daughters, Linda (Mrs. Joseph Bauman) of Plattsville, Brenda (Mrs. William Fisher) of Route 4, Paisley, and Sandra Jantzi of Ottawa; dear brother of Elmer of Poole and Erma (Mrs. Russell Kuntze) of Route 1 Brunner, and Annie (Mrs. Alvin Erb) of Route 1, Gads Hill; also survived by six grandchildren.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, where private family service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24. Interment to follow in Rush's cemetery, Wellesley Township. Rev.William Krueger will officiate. Expressions of sympathy may be made by contributions to a charity of one's choice.

    Eleanor Catherine Jantzi, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2016 in Little Harbour, home for the last ten years. Mother of three daughters Linda, Durham; Brenda (Bill Fisher), Elmira; Sandi (Deb Kyle), Little Harbour. Predeceased by her parents Katie and Vincent Walter; husband Allen Jantzi; son-in-law Joseph Baumann. Lovingly remembered by grandsons Matt (Tara), Todd and Joe Jr. Baumann, Cambridge; Bob Fisher, Waterloo; granddaughter Melissa Fockler, Elmira. Fondly remembered as "GG" to great-granddaughters Ashley Baumann and Raven Fockler. Special thanks to VON Nurses Heather and Lisa and all our wonderful Home Support Workers for their humour and kindness while attending to mom at home. Your compassionate care will always be remembered. Warm thanks to special friends Rita, Katherine, and JerrBear. Cremation has taken place with a private family service in Ontario to follow at a later date.

    Ezra was born in Wellesley township 88 years ago; was a son of the late John B. Jantzi and the late Dorothy Bast.

    He had farmed at RR 2, Wellesley, retiring in 1988; was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church.

    Beloved husband of the former Fannie Erb of Wellesley; dear father of Annie (Mrs. Alvin Erb) of RR 1, Gadshill and Erma (Mrs. Russell Kuntz) of RR 1, Brunner, Elmer and his wife Joan Jantzi of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Jantzi of Kitchener; by 11, grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren.

    Was predeceased by one son, Allan, October 20, 1979; also by one brother, Aaron and one sister, Violet Gerber.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive their friends Wednesday from 1-4 .and 7-9 p.m. Family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, May 12 at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m., Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate.

    Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials to the VON or the Ca-nadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.

    JOHN B. JANTZI Wellesley - Three days before his 88th birthday, John B. Jantzi died Sunday at his home. Born in East Zorra Township he was the son of the late John Jantzi and Catherine Brenneman. He was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. His wife, Dorothy Bast, died in 1958. Surviving are two sons, Ezra and Aaron of Wellesley, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Gerber of Millbank and a brother, Jacob of Wellesley. There are eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the residence where a short service will be conducted Wednesday at 1: 30 p.m. prior to a memorial service at Cedar Grove AM Church, conducted by Bishop Samuel Roth at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

    Mrs. John B. Jantzi, 85, died Wednesday. February 26, at her home in Wellesley.

    She and her husband, who Survives were married 64 years. They were wed Nov. 2. 1893, in Wilmot Township.

    Born in Wilmot May 31, 1872, she was a daughter of the late George Bast and his wife, the former Leah Wilhelm. She was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, third line of Wellesley Township.

    Surviving, besides her husband, arc two sons, Ezra of RR 2, Wellesley, and Aaron Of Wellesley; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph J. (Violet Gerber of the fifth line of Wellesley; two brothers, Moses of Wellesley and Rudolph of Crosshill; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Brunk of Wellesley, Mrs. Catherine Roth and Mrs. Lydia Miller, both of Baden; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The body rested at the residence where a short funeral was conducted Sunday at 1 p. m.. followed by a memorial service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 1:30 p.m. Bishop Samuel Roth officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    Wellesley - Menno L. Erb, 79, died early today at his home near Wellesley following an illness of three weeks. Born Feb. 24, 1874, in Wilmot Township, he was a son of the late Joel Erb and Barbara Lichty. A retired farmer, he was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, 3rd line of Wellesley. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Boshart; four sons, Michael and Ezra of Millbank, Aaron and Eli of Lowville, N.Y.; one daughter Mrs. Ezra (Fannie) Jantzi of Wellesley; two brothers, Christian of Tavistock and Noah of Mannheim and one sister, Mrs. Albert Kennel of Victoriaburg, near Wilmot Centre. Thirty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. One son predeceased him. The body is at the residence where a private service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. Removal will be made in Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church for a memorial service at 1: 45 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemeteryy. Bishop Samuel Roth will officiate.

    MRS. ANNIE ERB

    MILLBANK - A native of East Zorra township, Mrs. Annie Erb, 75, of Millbank, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Michael, RR 1, Millbank. A daughter of the late Jacob Boshart and Marie Jantzi, she was a member of Cedargrove Amish Mennonite Church, third line of Wellesley Township. Her husband, Menno, to whom she was married Dec. 15, 1898, in Wilmot Township, died in 1954. Survivors include four sons, Michael of RR 1, Millbank, Ezra of Millbank, Aaron and Eli of Lowville, N.Y.; one daughter, Mrs. Ezra (Fannie) Jantzi of Wellesley; one brother, Michael of Wellesley; seven sisters, Mrs. Aaron Jantzi, Mrs. Christian Roth and Mrs. Moses Bast of Wellesley, Mrs. John Albrecht and Mrs. Marie Steckley of Millbank, Mrs. Joseph Lebold of Milverton and Mrs. Peter Lather of Heidelberg; 43 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. The body is at the home of her son Michael where a service will be conducted Sunday at 1: 30 p.m. Memorial service will be conducted by Bishop Samuel Roth at Cedargrove church Sunday at 2: 30 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

    Hubert Runstedler - Linwood - One of the township's highly esteemed farmers, Hubert Runstedler, 83, died Tuesday night at his home, one mile south of Linwood, following an attack of pneumonia. He had been ill five days. Mr. Runstedler farmed on the ninth line of Wellesley all his life. He was born on May 10, 1885, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Runstedler. Late last summer, with Mrs. Runstedler, he observed his golden wedding anniversary. The deceased attended St. Mary's RC Church in Linwood.

    Besides his wife, the former Annie Baessler, he is survived by five sons, Anthony, Herbert, John and Joseph, all residing near Linwood, and Ephriam on the homestead, three daughters, Sister Chrysologa of the Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown, Mrs. Vincent Walter, Macton, and Mrs. Thomas Doherty, near Linwood. Two brothers, Joseph Runstedler near Linwood, and Jacob at St. Clements, also survive, with 30 grandchildren. The funeral took place this (Friday) morning at 10 o'clock with a service at St. Clements RC Church. Burial in St. Clements Cemetery.

    Mrs. HUBERT RUNSTEDLER

    LINWOOD. July 28—Mrs. Hubert Runstedler, nee Baessler, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Doherty, yesterday of a heart condition, following an illness of two weeks. Born at Hesson, July 1, 1967, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Baessler. Following her marriage to Mr. Runstedler at Hesson, Oct. 9. 1888, by the late Rev. Heitman, she resided near Linwood. Mrs. Runstedler attended St. Mary's R.C. Church, Linwood and was a member of the Altar Society and the League of the Sacred Heart. Mrs. Runstedler and her husband, who predeceased her four years ago, celebrated their golden wedding in 1933. A daughter, Sarah. also predeceased her. She is survived by her sons, Anthony, Herbert, John, Ephraim and Joseph, all of Linwood and three daughters, Sister M. Chrysologia of Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown, Mrs. Vincent Walter, Glen Allan, and Mrs. Thomas Doherty, Linwood. Two brothers, Joseph and George Baessler of Hesson and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Musselman of Marigold, B.C., 33 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday morning from the residence of Thomas Doherty, where the remains are resting, and will proceed to St. Clements R.C. Church, St. Clements, for Requiem High Mass at ten o'clock, when Rev, Dean William Becker and Rev, William O'Shaughnessy, C.R., will officiate.
