    Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Kitchener. Lorraine resided in New Hamburg and was born 68 years ago in Kitchener. Beloved wife of Wayne Roth whom she married August 19, 1967. Loving mother of Brent Roth of Toronto and the late Corey Roth. Dear sister-in-law of Larry & Faye Roth of Kitchener, Charles Kerr of Baden. She was the daughter of the late Howard & Verna (Miller) Hesse and sister of John Hesse of New Hamburg, David Hesse and Janet Van Ee of Kitchener. Missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister-in-law Mary Kerr. Lorraine was a member of the Christian Centre Singers, and a volunteer with the Wilmot Horticultural Society, Wilmot Agricultural Society and The Community Players. She was an accredited floral designer and a talented toy and card maker. She enjoyed interior and exterior designing. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday March 20, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. The service to celebrate Lorraine's life will take place on Friday March 22, 2013 at 2: 00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, Kitchener.     The death of Mr. Noah M. Roth of Baden occurred on Wednesday morning last at his late residence following a lengthy illness. Before retiring to Baden some years ago the late Mr. Roth farmed Lt R.R. 1, Tavistock. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Josiah, R.R. 1, New Hamburg; Reuben, R.R. 1, Tavistock and Noah Z. of Baden; three daughters, Lavina, Mrs. David Zehr, R.R. 7, Wood-stock, Tillie, Mrs. Amos Brenneman, R.R. 1, Shakespeare; and Emma, Mrs. Joseph Stere, R.R. 1, Bright; and twenty-one grandchildren. One daughter and two grand-children predeceased him. There also survives one sister, Mrs. Peter Steinman of Baden and two brothers, Mr. Sam. M. Roth of Baden and Mr. Daniel M. of Preston.

    Roth, Mary, daughter of Daniel and Annie Zehr, was born Oct. 1, 1880, in Wilmot Township, Ont.; passed to her eternal reward, after a brief illness July 3, 1954; aged 73 y. 10 m. 3 d. In her youth she accepted Christ as her Saviour and at the time of her death was a member of the East Zorra A. M. Church. On Dec. 18, 1909, she was united in marriage to Noah M. Roth, who predeceased her in 1948. To this union were born 4 daughters and 3 sons (Matilda-Mrs. Amos Brenneman, Tavistock, Ont.; Emma-Mrs. Joe Stere, Brighton, Ont.; Josiah and Noah, Baden, Ont.; and Reuben, of Tavistock), also 19 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers (Abraham, Noah, and David), and one sister (Mrs. Daniel Christner). She was preceded in death by 2 daughters (Anna Mae and Lovina), and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the East Zorra Church in charge of Daniel Zehr and Henry Yantzi, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    David Miller - by Record Correspondent - Baden, Oct. 10 - David Miller, 56, died early today at his home in Baden after an illness of two years. He was born to Henry L. Miller, who survives him, and the late Mrs. Veronica Miller, at Baden on Dec. 27, 1887. A farmer and highway patrolman, he attended Steinman's Amish Mennonite Church, Baden. Surviving, in addition to his wife, the former Lydia Bast, and his father, are five sons, Grant of Baden, Earl of Ottawa, Harry of New Hamburg, Bernel of Nova Scotia, and Laverne at home, and four daughters, Mrs. Delton (Beatrice) Snyder of near-Baden, Mrs. Clayton (Mabel) Binkle, and Mrs. Bertram (Pearl) Diebel of Kitchener, and Mrs. Howard (Verna) Hesse of New Hamburg. One daughter predeceased him three years ago. Also surviving are three brothers, Henry, William and Lloyd of Baden, and seven sisters: Mrs. Godfrey Leiskau of Baden, Mrs. Edward Bechthold of Waterdown, Mrs. Edgar Snyder of Baden, Mrs. Victor Schaefer of Detroit, Mrs. Wilfred Doerr of Baden, and Misses Edna and Fannie Miller of Baden. The public funeral service will be held Thursday from his home at two o'clock. A church service will follow at Steinman A.M. Church at 2: 45, with burial in the adjoining cemetery, Rev. Moses Jantzi, will officiate. The remains are resting at the home.
