    Frey, Robert Earl - Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday April 7, 2002, at the age of 74. Beloved husband and best friend of Anna (nee Weckworth). Loving father of Brenda Lee of Plattsville and Nancy Anne of Simcoe; proud and loving grandfather of Amber. Also survived by his sister, Doreen and her husband Roy Williams and sisters-in-law, Christian Kuehl and Leona Manwell. Predeceased by his parents, Percy and Olive Frey. Prior to his retirement in 1991, Robert worked at the Record as a proof reader for over 37 years. Roberts was a member of the J.M. Schneider Male Choir and the Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church Choir and also enjoyed singing at many weddings and other events.


    Mr. Frey's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Robert's life and faith will be held at Bethany Missionary Church, 160 Lancaster St. E., in Kitchener, on Friday, April 12, 2002 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ron Curl officiating. Internment will follow in Parkview Cemetery. Following the funeral service friends are invited to join the family in the church hall for a time of fellowship, refreshments and remembering.     Frey, Percy P. - At the K-W Hospital, Saturday, Sept. 26, 1981, following a lengthy illness, Percy Pembrook Frey, aged 87 years, of 18 Gruhn St., Kitchener. Mr. Frey was a member of Calvary United Church and was employed at Kaufman Rubber for 44 years until his retirement. Beloved husband of the former Anna Hammer; dear father of Robert of Kitchener and Doreen (Mrs. Roy Williams) of Waterloo. Five grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents; his first wife, the former Olive Roehr in 1942; four brothers and one sister. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Tuesday, 2 p.m., with Rev. Bruce Seebach officiating. Internment Mount Hope cemetery, Kitchener.     Mrs. Percy P. Frey, 44, died at her home, 18 Gruhn Street, last night following a lengthy illness. A native of Kitchener, she was a daughter of Mrs. Sophia Roehr and the late Gustave Roehr. Her maiden name was Olive Elsie Roehr. She was a faithful member of Calvary Memorial Church and the Live Wire Sunday School class. Surviving, besides the husband, are one son, Robert, 14, and one daughter, Gloria Doreen, 11. One step-brother, William Roehr of Kitchener, and one step-sister, Mrs. Oscar Heer of Waterloo, also survive. The remains will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Wednesday when removal will be made to the residence. At 11 a.m. Thursday the body will be taken to Calvary Memorial Church where friends may pay their respects until 1: 30 p.m. When the funeral will be held. Dr. H.A. Kellerman, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery.

    The funeral of the late G.C. Roehr will be held from his late residence, R.R. 3, Kitchener on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A short service will be held at the house followed by a public service at the Zion Evangelical church at 2.30 o'clock. Internment will follow in the Mount Hope cemetery. The late Mr. Roehr passed away in Buffalo Monday. He was born in Germany in 1861 and was in his 65th year. The late Mr. Roehr moved to this country and took up residence here. He is survived by his sorrowing wife, one son William, two daughters, Mrs. O. Herr [sic] of Waterloo and Mrs. P. Frey of this city. Two sisters, Mrs. M. Schlinder [sic] and Mrs. R. Bierwagon, both of Kitchener and one brother Robert of Kitchener also survive.

    Mrs. Sophia Roehr, 90, formerly of 475 Park St., died Saturday in K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. A native of Golden Lake, Ont., she had lived in Kitchener since 1900. She was a member of Calvary Evangelical United Brethern Church, the Ladies Aid and the Women's Missionary Societies.

    Mrs. Roehr is survived by a son, William of Preston, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ludwig of Waterloo, and Mrs. Annie Quast of Kitchener. There are five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Tuesday when removal will be made to the church for service at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. J.H. Getz. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
