    WIDEMAN, Richard "Dick" - Suddenly, as the result of a heart attack. at K-W Hospital, on Thursday. April 8. 1903. age 58 years. of Waterloo. Mr. Wideman was born in Kitchener and was a son of the late Lucy and Peter Wideman. He was an active member of St. Louis RC Church where he sang in the senior choir. was a former member of the parish council and currently a member of the Finance Committee. He was a member of Waterloo Knights of Columbus 5135. a former member of the 12th Medical Corps and had been employed at Electrohome Limited in Kitchener. Beloved husband of Darlene "Dolly" Weinstein; dear father of Michael and Denise, Peter and Barbara. Dale. Donna and Terry Hinschberger, Paul, Brian and Brenda. all of Waterloo and Denise and Jeremy De Silva of Aukland, New Zealand. He is also lovingly remembered by three grandchildren. Sean. Danielle and Cody; a daughter-in-law, Caroline and a sister. Dorothy Hariock of Kitchener. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister. Mr. Wideman's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home: 171 King St. S.. Waterloo from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) and 2-4 p.m. only on Easter Sunday. Prayers will be of at the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at-St. Louis RC Church at 10: 30 a.m. (Monday) with Rev Robert Liddy officiating. Interment to follow, in Parkview Cemetery. Waterloo.

    At his home, 247 Franklin St. North, on Saturday, Dec. 1, 1973, after a lengthy illness, Peter Truman Wideman, formerly of 115 Strange St., age 82 years; a lifelong resident of Kitchener, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Wideman; a member of St. John's RC Church and formerly employed at McBrine Baggage Company for 53 years. He retired in 1960; husband of Lucy Rose White who predeceased him in 1957; father of Margaret Wideman and Dorothy (Mrs. Harry (Jim) Harlock) of Kitchener, Richard Wideman of Waterloo and the late Harold who predeceased him in 1946; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Wideman was predeceased by a brother Richard and a sister Mrs. Mabel Melitzer.
    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King West, Kitchener after noon on Sunday where the parish rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at St. John's RC Church at 10 a.m. Interment Woodland cemetery.

    Mrs. Peter Truman Wideman, 61, of 115 Strange St., died suddenly of a heart attack today at her home. She was the former Lucy Rose White.
    She was born in Kitchener, Sept. 22, 1895, a daughter of the late John White and Mrs. Rose White of Kitchener. She married Peter Truman Wideman in 1913 in Kitchener.
    She was a member of St. John's RC Church and a member of the Catholic Women's League and Confraternity of the Holy Family.
    Surviving besides her husband and mother are one son, Richard, of Waterloo; two daughters, Miss Margaret Wideman and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Harlock of Kitchener; one brother, Jerome of Kitchener and one sister, Mrs. Benjamin Kowalsky of Preston.
    Four grandchildren also survive.
    She was predeceased by one son, Harold John Wideman in 1946.
    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Thursday at 8:30 a.m., when removal will be made to St. John's Church for requiem high mass at 9 a.m. Rev. William F. Gleason will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

    John Joseph White

    John Joseph White, died at his home, 1 Oak Street, last night at the age of 68 years. Death was due to heart failure. Mr. White was born in Poland and came to Canada at the age of nine years. He was engaged as a button turner with the Dominion button Company. He attended Sacred Heart Church and was a member of St. Joseph's Society.

    Mr. White was married in 1894 to Rose Oraszek, who survives with one son, Jerome of Doon, two daughters, Mrs. Peter Wideman and Mrs. Benjamin Kowalski, both of Kitchener, four brothers, Frank, Leo, Adam and William White, all of Kitchener, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Kaplin, Kitchener, and Mrs. John Rogowski, Buffalo, N.Y., and ten grandchildren.

    The funeral will be held Thursday from the residence to Sacred Heart Church for service at 9 o'clock. Interment will take place at Mount hope Cemetery. Rev. Joseph Sambroski, pastor, will conduct the services. The remains will rest at the Lippert Funeral Home until 7 o'clock tonight when they will be removed to the home.

    Mrs. John White, 92, of 1 Oak St., died Saturday at Coutts Pavilion of Freeport Sanatorium after a brief illness.

    She was the former Rose Orazek, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Orazek, and a native of Poland. She had lived in Kitchener for most of her life.

    Mrs. White was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church and the Christian Mothers Society.

    Her husband died in 1939, and a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Wideman, died in 1958.

    Surviving are one son, Jerome of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs. Ben (Annie) Kowalski of Preston; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning for Peter Weinstein who passed away at his residence, 40 Peppler St., Waterloo, on Monday, after a lengthy illness. Born n St. Agatha, Mr. Weinstein was in his 81st year. He was a member of St. Louis R.C. Church.

    His wife predeceased him five years ago. He is survived by seven sons, Harry, of Detroit, Ernest, Joseph, Norman and Herbert of Waterloo, Edgar of Kitchener, and Clarence of Guelph; two daughters, Mrs. A. Pierron, Detroit and Mrs. Gordon Baetz of Waterloo; one sister, Mrs. Henry Hesterman of Buffalo, N.Y., and by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
