STEVENSON, Mark Erle It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Mark Stevenson, of Kitchener, on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at age 52. He is predeceased by his parents, Marie Stevenson (nee Thomson) (1997) and Arthur Stevenson Sr. (1999). He leaves behind 4 siblings - Kellie (sister), Arthur Jr. (brother) and Kathleen, Robert (brother), Gordon (brother) and Carla. Remembered fondly by his sister-in-law Linda Perry. Beloved uncle to Arthur (AJ), Graham, Alana and David. Mark was a long time employee of both Labatt's Waterloo and Colonial Cookies Kitchener and currently employed at Skyjack in Guelph. Mark was also a previous member of the Royal Highland Fusiliers (Reserves) for many years. Mark was a passionate award-winning photographer and graduate of The New York Institute of Photography. A Memorial for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 19 Regina Street North in Waterloo, ON at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the spring.

Died peacefully. on Sunday. Feb. 14. 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital. in his 67th year. Husband of the late Marie Stevenson, Father of Kellie Cooke. STEVENSON, Inze Marie (Thomson)

Wife of Arthur Stevenson, passed away on Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 70th year. She will be sadly missed by her brother, Robert Erie Thomson of Vancouver. The grief is also shared by her children, Kellie Cooke of Waterloo, Arthur (Rick) and his wife Linda, Robert and his wife Nancy, Mark (Erie), all of Kitchener and Gord and his wife Carla of Gadshill. Saddened by the loss are her grandchildren, Arthur, Graham, Alana and baby David. Also remembering Marie is Dr. Thomas Borys. Predeceased by her father, Horace (Tiny) Thomson and her mother, Selina Marie Thomson McLeod. Also predeceased by her sisters, Tillie (Marjorie) Roth and Shirley Rose Meyer. Cremation will take place. Interment will be on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997 at 10: 30 a.m. at Parklawn Cemetery, 753 Fountain St., Cambridge.

Horace Thompson

PRESTON, Feb. 25 - Suffering a heart attack at his home, 905 King St., Horace Erle Thomson, 39, died at 1 o'clock this morning before medical aid could be summoned. Apparently in good health he was engaged in his regular employment duties yesterday, and his sudden death came as a shock to his family and friends in Preston and district. Mr. Thomson was born in Meaford. He resided in Preston from 1920 to 1928, and then made his home in Waterloo where he was employed with Raitar Transport as a truck driver. Returning to Preston six years ago, he enlisted with the Scot Fusiliers in Kitchener in 1942, serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers. During his service his family resided in Preston and he returned here following his discharge in February,1945. He was since employed with the Four Wheel Drive, Kitchener. A Baptist by faith, he was a member of Preston Legion branch. Surviving are his widow, Marie Selena Beattie; three daughters, Marie, Marjorie and Shirley, and one son, Robert Erle, all of Preston; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Ertel of Kitchener; two brothers, Alvin of Manchester, England and Ray Thomson of Calgary. One sister, Mrs. Inze Allemang, predeceased him in 1925. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Friday at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Preston.
