    Notes:

    For the past two years a night watchman at the Kitchener Auditorium, Fred Kehn, 59, of 201 Weber St. East, died today at the K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Nov. 11, 1893 in Guelph, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Kehn. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Canadian Legion. Prior to his latest employment, he was machine room foreman at De Luxe Upholstering Company, Ltd. In 1916 he enlisted in the 118th Battalion and served overseas for three years. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Irma Kropf, are four sons, Donald, Richard, David and James, Kitchener; two brothers, John of Hamilton and Clarence of Kitchener; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Timm and Mrs. Albert Kropf of Kitchener and Mrs. Mary Musselman of Marden, Ont. One brother, Albert, predeceased him. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with internment in the soldiers plot, Woodland Cemetery. Rev. Lloyd Wentzlaff will officiate.

    Kehn, Mrs. Irma - At the K-W Hospital, on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1975, after a brief illness, Irma Kropf of 55 Spadina Rd. E., Apr. 36, age 80 years. A resident of the Twin Cities all of her life; a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church; a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 50, Canadian Legion. Mother of Donald and David, both of Waterloo, Richard and James of Kitchener, 14 grandchildren also survive; predeceased by her parents and five brothers. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where the funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel, Thursday, at 4 p.m. with Rev. L. E. Wentzlaff officiating. Internment in Woodland cemetery. Donations to the organ fund of the church may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    The death occurred at eight o'clock last night at the family residence, 46 North Cameron street of Julius Kehn, aged 74 years and nine days. The deceased was born in West Prussia on February 7, 1997. He came to Canada in ?. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Wilhelmina Vardinski and by four sons, John Kehn, Hamilton; albert Kehn, Toronto; Clarence Kehn, Kitchener; and Fred Kehn, Kitchener, and by four daughters, Mrs. Albert Kropf, Kitchener; Mrs. Fred Timm, Kitchener; Mrs. Harvey Musselman, Waterloo and Mrs. Gordon Young, Kitchener; and also by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be held with a service at the residence, 46 North Cameroon Street on Thursday, February 19 at 2: 30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the East End Lutheran Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. H. A. Sperling in charge. The remains will be resting at the Hebralter? Funeral Home, until late Wednesday afternoon, when they will be removed to his residence where services will be held.

    Mrs. Minnie Kehn - Mrs. Minnie Kehn, 74, widow of the late Julius Kehn, died yesterday at her home, 46 Cameron Street North, after a brief illness. Born on Jan. 10, 1867, in Germany she came to Canada in 1880. Mrs. Kehn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Aid Society.

    Surviving are four sons, John of Hamilton, Fred and Clarence of Kitchener and Albert of Toronto, four daughters, Mrs. Albert Kropf, Mrs. Fred Timm and Mrs. Gordon Young, all of Kitchener and Mrs. Harvey Musselman of Waterloo, 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in February, 1931.

    Remains are at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where service will be held Monday at 2 pm with Rev. A.W. Lotz officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.

    Mr. George Kropf one of Kitchener's life long residents died suddenly last night at about five o'clock in the person of George Kropf at his residence, 201 East Weber street. The deceased was in his 59th year and had been in poor health for almost a year. The late Mr. Kropf was born in Germany but came direct to Kitchener where he entered the employ of the Canada Furniture company on his arrival. He was an old and faithful employee of this company up to the time of his first illness in March. Mr. Kropf was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church during the time of his residence in Kitchener. He was also a member of Court 72 of the Foresters and of the K O T M. Surviving him are his wife, five sons and one daughter as follows: Albert George and Henry and Erma, Mrs. F. Kehn of Kitchener, William of Sturgis, Mich. and Edwin of Armstrong, Ont. Two sisters, Mrs. Geo Snyder of Kitchener and Mrs. John Listman of Stratford and two brothers in Germany also survive. The funeral of the late Mr. Kropf will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2: 30 from his late residence, 201 East Weber street to the Ease End Lutheran cemetery for internment.

    Mrs. Katherine Kropf, widow of George Kropf, who resided at 201 Weber St. E., died yesterday at the K-W Hospital in her 86th year. She was born in Germany and came to Canada in her 21st year, being married in this city two years later. Mrs. Kropf is survived by three sons, William, Sturgis, Mich., George of Kitchener and Henry of Waterloo, a daughter, Mrs. Fred Kehn, and 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be from the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home Thursday at two o'clock, to St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. A. H. Eissfeldt will officiate. The remains are resting at the funeral home.
