    Martin Palvettian

    GALT, Martin Palvetzian, 21. Brant Rd. S., Galt, died Tuesday, at South Waterloo Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was 45. Mr. Palvetzian was born in Preston, where he resided until five years ago, when he moved to Galt. He owned and operated Stevens Pattern Works. Mr. Palvetzian learned his trade with the Stevens Co. and later became owner of the same business. He was affiliated with Trinity Anglican Church. He was past master of Preston Masonic Lodge No. 297 A.F. and A.M., a member of Concord Lodge in Hespeler A.F. and A.M. He was a 32nd degree of Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, member of the Mocha Temple in London, Ont., past president of Waterloo County Shrine Club, a member of the Knights of Vartan in Toronto and a member of the Galt Curling Club. He was predeceased by his father. Hachig Palvetzian, about two years ago. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Karibian; his mother, Mrs. Auzvig Palvetzian of Preston; two daughters, Ann and Sona, both at home; two brothers, George and Simon, both of Preston. The body is at the Little Funeral Home, until Friday noon, when removal will be made to the church for service, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Mountview cemetery.

    Of 223 Church St. N., Cambridge, Preston, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Friday, March 2, 1979, in her 80th year. Ardsvig Hagopian, beloved wife of the late Hachig Palvetzian; dear mother of George of Cambridge and Simon of Stratford. Mrs. Palvetzian was born in Armenia and has been a resident of Cambridge, for 55 years. Survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by a son, Martin in 1970. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (P), for funeral services, Sunday, at 2 p.m., interment in Parklawn cemetery.
