Beloved husband of Isabelle Bruce; dear father of Shirley (Mrs. William Rolfe) of Kitchener, grandfather of Maureen, Hugh and Willow; brother of Telford of Kitchener, Harry of Roseville, Frances (Mrs. Albert Stinson), Mrs. Maude Krewson, and May (Mrs. Harvey Letson), all of Cambridge. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Ave., N., Cambridge, from Sunday afternoon. Funeral service at Lincoln Avenue United Church, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.

    Suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday, Dec 28, 1988. Isabelle Brodhaecker (nee Bruce), of Kitchener, formerly of Cambridge (Galt). Loving mother of Shirley (Mrs William Rolfe) of Kitchener: dear grandmother, of Maureen (Mrs David Feeney) Kitchener, Hugh Johnston and wife Debbie of Brantford and Willow Rolfe of Mississauga; sister of Mrs. Roberta Harvey, Audrey (Mrs Harvey Smith), both of Hamilton and Bernice (Mrs. Fred Yates) of Chilliwack B.C. Mrs. Brodhaecker and her husband, the late Arthur Brodhaecker (1976), operated the Hillcrest store for many years. A faithful membet of Lincoln Avenue United Church, where she sang in the choir for many years and a former member of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Friends will be received at Little’s Funeral home, 43 Main St. E., Cambridge, tonight (Thursday), 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Lincoln Avenue United Church, Lincoln at Pollock, Cambridge, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Derek Parry and Canon Dan Webb, officiating. Interment Parklawn cemetery.

    Albert Brodhaecker

    PRESTON—Albert E. Brodhaecker 950 Coronation Blvd., Preston, died Monday at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. He was 92. Mr. Brodhaecker was born at Ayton, Ont. He moved from Arthur in 1927 to Dickie Settlement where he farmed for many years. In 1931 he moved to Preston. He had lived retired for several years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife the former Louisa Skerritt; three sons, Telford of Kitchener, Harry of RR 2, Galt and Arthur of Galt; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Crewson and Mrs. Albert (Frances) Stinson both of Preston and Mrs. Harvey (May) Letson of Galt; three sisters, Mrs. Leah Snelgrove of North Battleford, Sask, Mrs. Bertha Toby, of Grandora, Sask. and Mrs. Alex (Matilda) Crone, of Vancouver, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 3: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery. Rev. Ian Fleming of St. Paul's United Church will officiate.
