    DANIELLS, Helen Amelia (nee Kalbfleisch) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 21, 2016, at the age of 98 at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo. Helen was formerly of New Hamburg. Helen is pre-deceased by her husband Charles Daniells, daughter Lynn Whittrick, parents Eckhardt and Emma (Matthies) Kalbfleisch, two sisters and four brothers. Survived by son Tom Daniells and wife Gail, daughter Jane Howald and also by sons-in-law Wayne Howald and Mike Whittrick. Loving "Gran" of Jessica Daniells (Bruno Ribeiro), Meghan Daniells, Mark (Jill) Whittrick, Christine (Greg) Van Wyck, Jeff (Anita) Howald, Jenn (Ian) McDonald. Great "Gran" of Emma, Molly, Olivia, Louisa, Evelyn and Sophie. Also missed by a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. Family and friends will be received at Trinity Lutheran Church, 23 Church Street, New Hamburg on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 10: 00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11: 00 a.m. Pastor Stephen Larson and Pastor Helen Toman officiating.     Death of Thomas R. Daniels - It is with deep regret that we chronicle the death of Mr. Thomas R. Daniels, which occurred at his home here on Tuesday evening, Feb. 8th. He had been suffering with diabetes for over a year, but was only confined to bed for a few days prior to his death. He was son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. G. Daniels, of this town, and was aged 33 years, 5 months and 5 days. For several years past he was an employee in the local Ford service station, and being of a friendly and obliging disposition, he made a wide circle of friends who deeply regret his early demise. He was also a valued member of the new Hamburg Musical Society. He was married to Loretta Schaefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer, of this town, who with two small sons and one daughter, are left to mourn the loss of a loving husband and father. He also leaves his aged parents, one brother and six sisters. The funeral will be held this afternoon from his late home to St. George's Anglican Church, thence to Riverside cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the whole community in their bereavement.

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the statute in that behalf that all creditors and Others having claims or demands against the Estate of the said Thomas George Daniells, who died on or about the 8th day of August, A.D. 1928, at the Village of New Hamburg, in the County of Waterloo, are required on or before the 28th day of July, 1931, to send by post prepaid or deliver to the undersigned, the solicitor for the administrator of the Estate of the said deceased, their Christian names and surnames, addresses and descriptions, the full particulars in writing, of their claims, a statement of their accounts, and the nature of the security, if any, held 'by them.

    Death of Thomas G. Daniels

    The death occurred at his home here on Wednesday morning of Mr. Thomas G. Daniels, at the age of 75 years. Deceased had been in failing health for the past four years, his death being due to hardening of the artieries. The late Mr. Daniels was born in North Easthope and had lived at Haysville for a number of years before coming to New Hamburg, twenty-eight years ago. He was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and highly respected by all. His widow, who was formerly Anna Maria Payson, one son and six daughters survive him. Three sons, George, Thomas and Charles, and two daughters, Alice and Louis have predeceased him. The surviving children are: Mrs. George Evans, of Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. John Hepworth, Cando, Sask, Mrs. Elijah Chapman, of Wilmot, Maurice, of Listowel, Mrs. John Stever of Kitchener, Mrs. W. B. Wahl of Hamilton, and Mrs. Robert McFarland of Windsor. The funeral The funeral was held from his late home on Saturday to the Anglican Church and interment to Riverside Cemetery.

    Death of Mrs. Anna Daniels.

    Anna Pogson, widow of the late Thos. G. Daniels, passed away at her home an Wilmot street on Tuesday afternoon after an illness of several months. Mrs. Daniels was born in Blenheim 73 years ago and spent the greater part of her life in Haysvile and New Hamburg. She was a faithful member of the Anglican church and was highly esteemed. Her husband predeceased her two year ago. One son Charles was killed in the Great War and two sons, George and Thomas, and two daughters, Alice and Louise, also predeceased her, There are left to mourn her, one son, Maurice, of Dorking, and six daughters, Mis. A. Sorensen, Ancaster, Mrs. Geo. Evans, Bridgeport, Conn.; M.m. Elijah Chapman, Haysville; Mrs. Jos. Stever, Kitchener. Mrs. Robert McFarlane, of Windsor, and Mrs. Wm. Walsh, of Hamilton. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon to St. George's Church followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery.
