    Of Route 1, Preston, at Hamilton, on July 6, in his 61st year, Gilbert Bernier, beloved husband of Jean Marion; dear father of Donald of Trenton, Robert of Kitchener, Roland, Douglas, Thomas, David, Joanne and Patti-Jean, all of Preston. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston, from this evening for funeral service Monday, at 2 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.

    BERNIER, Jean Ann - Peacefully, at Clarion Nursing Home, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in her 88th year.

    Jean Ann Marion, beloved wife of the late Gilbert Bernier (1972). Loving and generous mother of Donald and his wife Carol, Roland, Robert and his wife Audrey, Douglas, Thomas, David, Joanne Galluzzo and her husband Joe and Pattie Charbonneau and her husband Kevin. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by two daughters-in-law, Betty Bernier and Sue Dallas (2002).

    Mrs. Bernier had been a resident of Cambridge for approximately 40 years. she was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Cambridge.

    Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday, January 6, 2003 from 7-8 pm, followed by a memorial service at 8 pm with Rev. John Anderson officiating.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
