    WEIRMIER, Herbert Arden At the age of 96, Herb passed away peacefully at home in Waterloo on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 after enjoying Christmas with family. Predeceased in 2013 by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary C. B. Weirmier (nee Switzer). Loving father of William (Linda Snyder), Ron, Ross (Gloria) and Jeff (Penny). Cherished grandpa to Cory (Stephanie), Tamara, Brandon, Chris (Andrea), Jenn (Greg) and great-grandpa to Carly, Nathan, Hannah, Isabelle, and Victoria. Herb is survived by his sister Betty Stever. Predeceased by five brothers, two sisters and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A special thank you to CarePartners, the PSWs, and palliative care nurse Vanessa who cared for Herb. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Herb during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at Trillium Lutheran Church (formerly St. John's Lutheran Church), 22 Willow Street, Waterloo on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau. A light lunch at the church will follow the interment. Condolences for the family and memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to St. John's Lutheran Church may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.

    WEIRMIER, Mary Caroline Beatrice After a courageous battle with cancer, Mary passed away peacefully on September 8, 2013 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 87. Beloved wife of 65 years to Herbert. Loving mother of William (Linda Snyder), Ron, Ross (Gloria) and Jeff (Penny). Cherished grandma to Cory (Stephanie), Tamara, Brandon, Chris (Andrea), Jenn (Greg) and great-grandma to Carly, Nathan, Hannah and Isabelle. Also missed by her brother Ben Switzer, her sister-in-law Betty Stever and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harvey Switzer, sister-in-law Diane Switzer, brothers-in-law; Joseph, Walter, George (Clara Belle), Clayton (Vi), Clarence (Elva); sisters-in-law Anne (Bill), Ruth (Roy) and her parents William and Claire Switzer. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at CCAC and Grand River Hospital especially the Doctors and the Nurses on the 6th floor who cared for Mary with such compassion and care. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow Street, Waterloo, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. Fred Ludolph presiding. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
