    DIETRICH, Clayton Henry

    On Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1984, at K-W Hospital, Kitchener, after a brief illness, Clayton Henry Dietrich, of 88 King St E., St. Clements. Mr. Dietrich was born in Baden, 78 years ago.

    Son of the late John Dietrich and the late Helena Bolini. A member of St. Clements RC Church, where he was active in the Holy Name Society; employed by the Waterloo County Roads Department for 19 years, retiring 11 years ago.

    Beloved husband of the former Olive Hoffarth of St. Clements; dear father of Connie (Mrs. Harold Walser) and Joan (Mrs. Mark Voisin), both of St. Clements, Margaret Rose (Mrs. Peter Hlowatzki) of Waterloo, Patricia Lorentz and Donna Dietrich-Miller, both of Kitchener, Claude of Guelph, Jerome of Kitchener, Vincent and Dennis, both of Waterloo; brother of Carl Dietrich of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers, Wilfred and Vincent.

    Visitation was at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, Kitchener,
    Wednesday. Prayers offered at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 17 followed by mass of Christian burial at St. Clements RC Church. Rev. W.L. Ryan will officiate. Interment in St. Clements RC cemetery.

    Parish rosary recited at the funeral home Thursday.

    Remembrances to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

    Our most loving and precious mother, went home to be with her Lord, on Monday, May 24, 1999, at Central Park Lodge, Kitchener, Olive Catherine Dietrich (Hoffarth). Olive was born in Carlsruhe 87 years ago, daughter of the late Paul Hoffarth and the late Suzanne Druar. Mrs. Dietrich was a lifelong resident of St. Clements and was a former president of the PTA and honorary member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Clements RC Church and also a past president of the Golden Year Club. She was the beloved mother of Connie and her husband Harold Walser, Joan and her husband Mark Voisin of St. Clements, Patricia Lorentz and Margaret Rose Hlowatzki, Vincent and his wife Shirley Dietrich, Donna Dietrich and her special friend John and Dennis and his wife Maureen Dietrich of Kitchener-Waterloo. Dearest grandma of 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton H. Dietrich (Feb. 15, 1984); by two sons, Claude and Jerome; by four brothers, Michael, Alexander, Frank and Father Joseph Hoffarth and by five sisters, Pauline Kuperschmidt, Bertha Reitzel, Josephine Rieck, Sister Winifred, SSPS and Rose Hoffarth. Visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, where family and friends will be received today (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday at 9: 30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clements RC Church at 10: 30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Clements RC Cemetery.
