SCHNEIDER, Delton John "Nutch" Suddenly at his residence on Sunday, February 26, 2012, in his 63rd year. Cherished husband and best friend of Dale (nee Cummings) of 40 years. Loving father of Doreen and John Cook and Darryl and Deanna Schneider. Proud Papa of Kadie, Mitchell, Dylan, Ethan, Cayley, Hayden, Lyndyn, Brynly and Devin. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Delford (twin) and Hilda, Ron, Brian and Fran, and by Stan and Giselle. Also sadly missed by his sisters Colleen and Vic Bowyer, Linda and Bill Dahms, Karen and Gerard Herrgott, and by Glenda Koebel. Nutch will be remembered by his Mother-in-law Nina (nee Buchanan) Cummings. Also remembered by his sister-in-law Eva and Richard Seehaver and by his brothers-in-law Murray and Lois Cummings, Jim and Darlene Cummings and by John and Carol Cummings. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Debbie (1978) and by his parents Irvin (1973) and Ruth (nee Pommer, 2008). Also predeceased by his father-in-law Nelson Cummings (2001), sisters-in-law Helen (2006), Dianne (2003) and brothers-in-law Charles Koebel (2011) and Earl Cummings (1980). He was employed with Home Hardware for 46 years. Family and friends will be received at ROBERT RUGGLE FUNERAL HOME , 617 King St. N. Waterloo on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. Spring interment in Rushes Cemetery. SCHNEIDER, Ruth Vera (nee Pommer) - Of Kitchener, passed away peacefully, knowing her Lord and Saviour, at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Irvin William Schneider (1973). Dear mother of Delford of Kitchener, Delton (Dale) of Millbank, Colleen Bowyer (Vic) of St. Clements, Ronald of Kitchener, Linda Dahms (Bill) of Mildmay, Brian (Fran) of Elmira, Karenann Herrgott (Gerard) of St. Clements, Glenda Koebel of Kitchener, Stanley (Giselle) of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother, Art Pommer (Janet) of Listowel; her sisters, Esther Prince of Kitchener and Ruby Lingelbach of Wellesley. Predeceased by her brother, Sanford; her sisters, Catherine Becker and Helen Eicher and her daughters-in-law, Diane and Helen; and her very dear friend, Mamie Hergott. Ruth was an avid bingo player and cherished the many friends made as a result of her love for the game. Ruth was a former employee of Lear Seating in Kitchener. The family will receive friends at David MacLeod Funeral Home , 617 King St., N., Waterloo today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 2 p.m. Pastor Mark Emmerson officiating. Mrs. John Schneider, 79, died early Wednesday, April 8, at her home, RR 1, St. Clements. Born on the family farm, she was the former Lydia Rank, a daughter of the late Jacob Rank and Catherine Feick. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg, and the Ladies Aid. Surviving are her husband, whom she married in 1902 in Kitchener; six sons, Grant of Breslau, Elmer, John and Almond, all of Waterloo, Nelson of Elmira and Irvin at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Olive) Goodwin of Waterloo and Mrs. Wilfred (Florence) Hahn of Linwood. There are 32 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial was in St. Peter's Church cemetery.

WELLESLEY - Otto H. Pommer, 66, of RR 2, Wellesley, died Saturday at his home after a five month illness.

Born in Wellesley Township on Oct 18, 1892, Mr. Pommer was a son of the late Charles Pommer and the former Katherine Bivour. He farmed in this district most of his life and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife the former Edna Doersam, whom he married May 10, 1918, in Wellesley, two sons, Sanford of Woodstock, and Arthur, at home; five daughters, Mrs. David (Helen) Eichler, RR 1, Stratford, Mrs. William (Catherine) Becker, RR 2, Petersburg, Mrs. Isidore (Esther) Prince of Kitchener, Mrs. ? (Ruth) Schneider, RR 1, St. Clements and Miss Ruby, at home; two brothers, Herman of Atwood, Julius of Stratford, and 27 grandchildren. Two sisters predeceased him.

The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley until Tuesday at 1: 30 pm when removal will be made to St. Mark's Church for the funeral at 2: 30 pm. Rev. Ralph Huras will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery, Wellesley.

Family will receive friends this evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Noon Saturday, Oct. 11, remains will be removed to St. Mark's Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m., Rev.
