    ERB, Allan \endash Peacefully at Stratford General Hospital, with family by his side, on Friday, January 22, 2016 in his 95th year.

    Beloved husband of the late Norma (Zehr) who predeceased him in 2013.

    Loving father of David and Eva of RR2 Wellesley, Darlene and Louis Byler of RR2 Milverton, John and Shelley of RR2 Blyth, Mary Ellen and James Ropp of RR1 Monkton, Allan P. and Linda of RR2 Wellesley, son in-law Raymond Paul Gerber of RR1 Brunner and predeceased by his daughter Deborah Gerber (2010).

    Will be sadly missed by 32 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by his parents Daniel S. and Nancy (Gerber) Erb and his grandson Nathaniel Erb (1981) in infancy. He was the last surviving member of his family being predeceased by his siblings Elmer (Vera), John (Frieda), Cornelius (Emma) (Katie), Laura (Harvey) Nafziger, Norman (Amanda), Dan (Doris) and brother in-law Mervin Kropf. Also predeceased by sisters in-law Mary Zehr in infancy and Laurene (Norman) Jantzi.

    Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin funeral home, Wellesley, on Saturday (tonight) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, 4831 Deborah-Glaister Line, Wellesley, on Monday January 25, 2016 at 2: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Bishop John Gerber officiating.

    In lieu of flowers, donations to Masters International or Christian Aid Ministries would be appreciated

    MRS. ERVIN GERBER 1967 Mrs. Ervin Gerber, 30, of St. Agatha, died on Thursday, September 22, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, after a lengthy illness.

    The former Frida Magdalena Wilker, she was born in Mornington Township, on May 21, 1936. She was a member of first Mennonite Church, Kitchener. In March, 1955, she married Ervin Gerber, at Kitchener.

    Surviving are her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wilker, of R.R. 1, Britton; a son, Dennis, and five daughters, Bonnie, Tamara, Sheila, Shelley and Denise, all at home; a brother, Elroy, of R.R. 1, Britton; two sisters, Mrs. William (Marion) Breedon, of Stratford, and Miss Loretta, of Seaforth.

    Daniel S. Erb. 83 of Wellesley died Saturday at his home.

    He was born in Wellesley Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John S. Erb.

    He farmed in Wellesley Township, retiring to the village in 1948. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley. He married the former Nancy Gerber in Wellesley Township. March 15. 1910.

    Surviving are his wife; six sons, Elmer, Wellesley; John, Daniel G., and Allan, all of RR 2 Wellesley; Cornelius. RR 1. Milverton; Norman. RR 1, Brunner; one daughter. Mrs. Harvey (Laura) Nafziger, Brunner; 32 grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held yesterday at the family residence. Wellesley.

    Burial was in the Cedar Grove Church cemetery.

He was formerly of Carthage and was born in Ellice township, 88 years ago, a son of the late Jacob and Mattie (Ropp) Wilker. He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank, where he had been trustee and Sunday school teacher. He had been director of the former Britton Cheese Factory and a trustee of the former SS No.6, Mornington Town-ship Public School Board. Dan enjoyed woodworking and gardening as his hobbies. Beloved husband of the former Laura Bast, who predeceased him in 1988. Loving father of Marion and her husband William Breedon of RR 1, Charing Cross, Ont., Elroy and his wife Jean of Milverton, Lauretta and her husband Delmer Bender of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by 16 grand-children, 20 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Ervin Gerber and his wife Betty; a daughter-in-law, Marie and her husband Daniel Zehr, all of New Hamburg; five sisters-in-law, Emma (Mrs. Sam Lebold) of Milverton, Clara and her husband Emanuel Zehr of Poole, Vera and her husband Elmer Erb of Wellesley, Elizabeth (Mrs. Elvy Bast) of Stratford, Lena (Mrs. Sam Bast) of Tavistock. Daniel was predeceased by one daughter, Frieda Gerber; one son, Willie and one granddaughter, Donna. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton, after 2 p.m. today (Monday) and until tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 4, 1994, at noon when transfer will be made to Riverdale Mennonite Church for the service at a p.m. with Rev. Raymond Erb officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Knollcrest Lodge or Riverdale Mennonite Church.
