Wife of Alvin Berlet; mother of Kim and Gail at home; survived by a stepbrother, Garfield Gooding of Kitchener; daughter of Mary McCrae and the late Charles Gooding.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 620 King St. W., Kitchener after 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral, service in the chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Terry Pitts officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery.

Charles H. Gooding

Following a lengthy illness Charles H. Gooding, 58, of 408 Wellington St. N., died at the K-W Hospital early today.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Gooding, he was born at Glen Allan Sept. 1, 1888. He was a member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans having served overseas in the First Great War with the 188th Battalion. He attended Trinity United Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mary McCrae; one son, Garfield; one daughter. Delores, both of Kitchener. and two brothers, George A., Palmerston, and Norman, Kitchener. The remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Thursday at two o'clock. Interment will be made in the Soldiers' Plot in Woodland Cemetery. Rev. E. O. Seymour will officiate.

Two granddaughters survive. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles, one daughter, Delores and five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. Tuesday, where the funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Dr. E.E. Kent officiating. Cremation in Parkview crematorium to follow.

Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation may be made as expressions of sympathy.
