    Hertzberger, Henry - At K-W Hospital, on Friday, Oct. 14, 1983, Henry Hertzberger, aged 79 years, formerly of Queen's Blvd. and Millwood Manor. He was predeceased by his wife Lorna Schneider in Nov. 1981 and his parents, Louisa and Henry Hertzberger of Normanby township. He is survived by his daughter Audrey of Waterloo; his brother and sister-in-law, Percy and Elsie Hertzberger, of Waterloo and his sister-in-law, Mrs. Ivah Breimer, of Hamilton. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, Monday, Oct. 17, 1983 at 3 p.m., Rev. Fred Roberts of Zion United Church officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.     Mrs. Louisa Hertzberger, widow of the late Henry Hertzberger, died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital today following a stroke. She was in her 63rd year and had lived in Normanby for over 25 years, coming to Kitchener a year ago, following the death of her husband. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Normanby. She is survived by two sons, Percy and Henry Hertzberger of this city; four brothers, John Ziegler of Akron, Ohio, Henry and William Ziegler of Kitchener and Oscar Ziegler of Saginaw, Mich.; and by two sisters, Mrs. Caroline McLean and Mrs. Thomas Thompson of Hamilton. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2.30 o'clock from the Ratz and Bechtel Funeral Home, to Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. A. Orzen will be in charge.

    Auction. - The Hertzberger property was put up at auction here on Saturday afternoon by the executors, viz : Messrs M. Hallman and C. Hofstetter. Mr. P. Sararus wielded the hammer and sold the house and lot comprising one-half acre of land for $162 to Mr. Alfred Knechtel of this place.

    Mr. Jacob A. Ziegler

    Following two weeks illness the death of Jacob A. Ziegler, 111 Waterloo street, occurred yesterday afternoon at his residence, shortly after 2 p.m. due to paralysis. The deceased, born in Heidelberg and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, was in his 84th year. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Lang, four daughters, Mrs. D. Black, city, Mrs. H. Hertzberger, Clifford, Ont., Mrs. T. Thompson, and Mrs. C. MacMillan, both of Hamilton, two step-daughters, Mrs. C. O. Cremer and Mrs. I. Fowler, both of Toronto, four sons, John of Akron, Ohio, Oscar, Saginaw, Mich., William and Henry Ziegler, both of Kitchener, one brother, Henry Ziegler, Bay City, Mich., two sisters, Mrs. Mary Duench, Elmira and Mrs. L. Plant, Brantford, also 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be publicly held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from Schreiter's Funeral Home with Rev. H. A. Sperling in charge of the services. Interment will take place in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The remains are resting at the late residence until Tuesday noon, when they will be transferred to the Funeral Home.
