    A BIRTHDAY PARTY was held yesterday afternoon for Mrs. Ellen Robins of Eventide Home, who was celebrating her 94th birthday. During the afternoon friends and relatives called to extend congratulations and last night a family dinner party was held in her honor. Mrs. Robins is seen in the above picture with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Leonard Robins, 50 Stanley street, where the party was held. (Reporter Photo)

    Resident Of Eventide Guest At Dinner Party

    Mrs. Ellen Robins of Eventide Home, celebrated her 94th birthday yesterday at a family dinner party, held at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Robins, Stanley street.

    Friends and relatives called during the afternoon to extend congratulations and the birthday recipient received many lovely cards and gifts. Among guests present was Mrs. Lavina Salisbury, also a resident at Eventide. A social time was spent and the hostess served a dainty lunch assisted by Mrs. Morris Lawrence and Mrs. James Robertson.

    Mrs. Robins who is enjoying fairly good health has been in residence at Eventide for more than two years. Prior to that time she lived for many years on Tait street, coming to Canada from England in 1905. She has lived since that time in Galt and will be remembered by many oldtimers.

    During her younger years she I was an active worker in Women's groups at Trinity church, where she is a member. Besides Leonard on Stanley street, there are two other sons, Reginald of Byron, Onario [sic], and Reginald of Byron, Ontario, and daughter.
