    HEIPEL, Mrs. John (Shirley) Peacefully, to her eternal home, on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital.

    Shirley Alice (Schott) Heipel was a resident of the Freeport Hospital for the past 18 1/2 years. She was born in Wellesley township 64 years ago. Daughter of the late Edward Schott and the late Alice Heinrich.

    Mrs. Heipel was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Erbsville.

    Beloved wife of John Heipel of Wallenstein for 45 years. Loving mother of Sharon and her husband David Holowack of Toronto, Patricia and her husband Craig Bailey of Cambridge, David and his wife Christine of Kitchener, Joanne of Toronto, Nancy of Vancouver and Andrew of Wallenstein. She will always be in our hearts. Robert, Annie, Daniel and Brianna will always cherish the memories of "Grandma in the Chair" She will be missed as a sister to Harley and Merlyn Schott of Waterloo, Donald Schott of Wellesley, Bruce Schott of North Bay, Willard and Millie Schott of Kitchener, Dianne and Gerald, Brohman of Waterloo and Sandra Schott of Waterloo. Sister-in- law of Walter Heimpel. Andy Jansen and Gladys Schott. Predeceased by four brothers. Ervin, Clifford (Verna), Howard (Beatrice) and Herbert; also by two sisters. Hilda Jansen and Eva Heimpel.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will also be at St. Paul's Church on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Olaf J. Poulsen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Erbsville.

    Daughter of the late John and Rosa Heinrich. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Schott. Mother of Howard and his wife Beatrice of Point Clarke, Ont.. Harley and his wife Merlyn, Dianne and her husband Gerald Brohman and Sandra, all of Waterloo, Donald of Monkton, Ont., Bruce of North Bay, Willard of Kitchener, Shirley and her husband, John Heipel of St. Clements, Eva and her husband, Walter Heimpel of Wellesley. Also survived by two daughters-in-law, Gladys and Verna Schott and one son-in-law, Andrew Jansen, all of Kitchener. Sister of Nelson Heinrich of Mount Forest, Luella Heier and Viola Ward, both of Kitchener; grandmother of 39 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one daughter, Hilda and three sons, Ervin, Clifford and Herbert and one sister, Alvera.

    Mrs. Schott's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Wednesday), from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Erbsville. Rev. Robert Gmeindl officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

    Henry Schott

    Following a lengthy illness, Henry Schott, passed away at the home of his son Edward Schott, Erbsville, on Monday. Deceased had been a resident of the county for some time and was born in Germany about 85 years ago. For the past 23 years he suffered from blindness. Surviving are the widow and ten children, Mrs. John Pepper, Elkton, Mich., John of Grimsby, Mrs. John Rahn of Canboro, William and Mrs. Ervin Rickert of Kitchener, Mrs. Richard Arndt of Waterloo, Henry of Mannheim, Abraham, Edward and Noah of Erbsville. There are also 28 grandchildren and four great grand-children. The funeral will be held on Thursday at one thirty o'clock from the residence of his son Edward Schott, Erbsville, to the Erbsville church for services and thence to the cemetery for interment.

    The death took place at the home of his son, Edward Schott at Erbsville on Monday of Henry Schott, a resident of the county for many years. Deceased, who was born in Germany was aged 85 years. The past 35 years he was afflicted with blindness. The funeral took place this (Thursday) afternoon from the home of his son to the Erbsville church and cemetery for service and interment.

    There survive a sorrowing widow and ten children, namely: Mrs. John Pepper, Elkton, Mich; John of Grimsby, Mrs. John Rahn of Canboro, William and Mrs. Irvin Rickert of Kitchener, Mrs. Richard Arndt of Waterloo, Henry of Mannheim, Abraham, Edward and Noah of Erbsville.     Mrs. Henry Schott

    The death occurred at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of her son Abram, near Erbsville, of Mrs Henry Schott in her 82nd year. The late Mrs. Schott was well known in the district and her passing will be a shock to a large circle of friends and acquaintances won thru kind and genial disposition. Her husband predeceased her about six years ago. Surviving are five sons and four daughters: John of Grimsby: Abram of Erbsville, William of Kitchener. Noah of Waterloo and Edward of Erbsville, and Mrs. John Pfeffer of Michigan; Mrs. John Rahn of Canfield, Ont.; Mrs. Irvin Reichert of Kitchener and Mrs Richard Arendt of Kitchener. The funeral will be held on Friday after noon at 2 o'clock from the home of her son Abram to the Erbsville Lutheran church and cemetery.

    Mrs. John Heinrich, 78, of 83 Peppler St., Waterloo, died Thursday, June 16 at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness.

    She was born in Woolwich Township, May 11, 1888, the former Rosa Anna Thuroo and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Thuroo.

    She lived in the Hesson Road area until she moved to waterloo 20 years ago.

    She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, and the Lutheran Church Women.

    She was predeceased by her husband, in 1962, and by two daughters.

    Surviving are a son, Nelson, of Conn., Ont.; three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Alice) Schott and Mrs. Al- fred (Viola) Ward, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. Luella Heler of Kitchener: a brother, John Thuroo, Toronto; one sister, Mrs. Harry (Catherine) Johnston, Haney, B.C., 10 grand- children and 12 great-grandchildren.

    The body was at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home from Saturday noon until Monday noon when remo- val was made to the chapel of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, for a funeral service at 3pm. Rev. A. L. Conrad of St. John's Lutheran Church officiated.
    Burial was in Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery.

    A well known resident of Wellesley Township in the person of John He'nrich passed away on Tuesday, April 1st, at the old homestead on Hesson Road in his 81st year. The funeral was held on Friday afternoon from the home to the Lutheran Church here for service and thence to the Lutheran cemetery for interment. Rev. Mr. Reble of Linwood bad charge of the service.

    August Thuroo

    August Thuroo, aged 85 years, died this morning at his home, 32 Noecker St., Waterloo, following a shot illness. He was born in Germany on August 15, 1880, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Thuroo, and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Erbsville.

    Mr. Thuroo is survived by two sons, William of Erbsville, and John of Trout Creek; and two daughters, Mrs. John Heinrich of Bamberg and Mrs. Harry Johnston of Winnipeg. There are also 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His wife, formerly Bertha Mueller, died in 1923.

    The remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements which will be announced later.
