Beloved wife of Ronald K. Cressman; loving mother of Jeffrey Paul and D. Scott, both of Elmira; dear daughter of Mrs. Mae Sweeney of Elmira and the late Patrick J. Sweeney.

Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, where the family will receive friends this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Tuesday, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira, for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Donald Stroh officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.

CRESSMAN, Barbara (Mrs. Elmer) - Peacefully, on Thursday, December 9, 2004, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Barbara (Reinhart) Cressman, in her 88th year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Cressman (1990). Loving mother of Ron and Mary Anne Cressman of Elmira, Ross and Karen Cressman of Guelph, Wendy and Peter Banting of Ancaster. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Marcia (Rob), Matthew; Jeffrey (Lauren), Scott (Adrienne), Erin, Dawn, Stephanie and Daniel, Chris (Lisa) and great-grandchildren, Skyler and Sierra, Bailey and Nathan, Lindsay and Zoe.Predeceased by her parents, William and Philippine (Schmermund) Reinhart; one son, George (1977) ; one granddaughter, Heather (1981); daughter-in-law, Barbara (1992); two brothers, Henry and Louis Reinhart and one sister, Helen Horst.At Barbara's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira on Monday, December 27 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Hans Borch officiating.In her memory, donations to St. James Lutheran Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
