    YUTZI, Anson S.

    Suddenly, on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1987, in Wellesley, Anson Samuel Yutzi of 145 Queen St. E., Wellesley. Mr. Yutzi was born in Wilmot township, 71 years ago.

    He was a son of the late John Yutzi and the late Sarah Bender. A member of Maple View Mennonite Church, he farmed in Wellesley township before retiring in 1969. He was also employed at the K-W Hospital from 1969 to 1979. Beloved husband of the former Mary Elizabeth Albrecht of Wellesley; beloved father of Delford and his wife Marlene of New Hamburg, Donald and his wife Amita of New Hamburg, Reta (Mrs. Harold Steinmann) of Wellesley, Diane (Mrs. Robert Anger) of New Hamburg and Mary Jane (Mrs. Larry Falk) of Wellesley; dear brother of Elmer Yutzi of St. Jacobs, Gladys (Mrs Roy Denyer) of Kitchener, Clara (Mrs. Norman Erb) of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, Erlis Yutzi in 1986. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Wednesday) from 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. At 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9. removal will be made to the Maple View Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30, Rev. Alvin Leis and Rev. Alan Nafziger will officiate. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

    Anson Yutzi

    Funeral service was held Friday in Wellesley for Anson Samuel Yutzi, of 145 Queen street east, Wellesley. He died January 6, 1987, in Wellesley. He was 71.

    He was the husband of Mary Elizabeth Albrecht; father of Delford and Donald Yutzi, and Diane (Mrs. Robert Anger), all of New Hamburg, Reta (Mrs. Harold Steinmann and Mary Jane (Mrs. Larry Falk), both of Wellesley; brother of Elmer Yutzi, of St. Jacobs, Gladys (Mrs. Roy Denyer), of Kitchener, and Clara (Mrs. Norman Erb), of Wellesley; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; predeceased by his parents, John Yutzi and Sarah Bender, and one brother, Erlis Yutzi.

    Burial was in Maple View Mennonite cemetery.

    Jutzi. - John C. B., son of Samuel B. and Catherine (Brenneman) Jutzi, was born May 9, 1883, in South Easthope, Perth Co., Ont.; died March 9, 1929, in Wellesley Twp.; aged 45 y. 9 m. 26 d. At the age of 16 he accepted Christ and united with the A. M. Church of which he was a faithful member until death. On Oct. 5, 1911, he was united in marriage to Sarah Bender. To this union were born 2 daughters and 3 sons. He leaves his widow, 5 children (Gladys, Clara, Anson, Erlus, and Elmer), 3 brothers and 1 sister (Solomon R., Albany, Oreg.; Daniel R., North Easthope; Jacob B., Baden, Ont.; Mary, wife of Enos Schultz of Ellice). He suffered from heart trouble for some time and while reading the Bible after eating supper he fell from the chair and passed away. Funeral services were held on March 10 at the home by Peter Boshart (text, Jno. 11: 1-27), and at the Maple View church, Wellesley, Ont., by Christian S. Zehr (text, Tit. 2: 11-14) and Christian Schultz (Matt. 24: 42). Interment in adjoining cemetery.

    Peacefully, on Friday, Nov. 4 at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Mrs. Sarah Yutzi, formerly of Baden and Kitchener. Sarah was born in Wilmot township 97 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Samuel Bender and the late Magdalena Lebold. She was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Dear mother of Anson of Wellesley, Erns of Baden and Elmer of RR 2, West Montrose, Gladys (Mrs. Roy Denyer) of Kitchener, and Clara (Mrs. Norman Erb) of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John C.B. Yutzi in 1929. Also predeceased by one brother Allen and by two sisters, Leah and Katie. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley. At 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, removal made to the Maple View Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Alvin Leis and Rev. Glen Jantzi and Rev. Alan Nafzinger officiated. Interment in the church cemetery.

On March 14, 1916, he was married to Elizabeth Schmidt, who survives.     Mrs. George Albrecht

    Mrs. George Albrecht, 75, died on Sunday of last week at the Stratford General Hospital.

    She was born in Kingwood in 1894, the former Elizabeth Schmidt, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Schmidt. She was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley.

    Surviving are two sons, Ervin, RR 2 Wellesley; John S., Kingwood; three daughters, Mrs. Anson (Mary) Iutzi, Wellesley; Mrs. Omar Leis, RR 2, Wellesley; Mrs. Albert (Emma) Lichti, RR 1, Millbank; one brother, George, Aldon, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob (Susan) Gascho, Wellesley, Mrs. Noah (Clara) Wagler, RR 1, Millbank; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

    Funeral service was held on Wednesday at the Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley.

    Burial took place in the church cemetery.

    Jutzi.-Samuel B. Jutzi was born near Baden, Ont., Sept. 4, 1845; died in Perth County, Ont., March 28, 1920; aged 74 y. 6 m. 24 d. On March 14, 1871, he married Barbara Roth. To this union were born 5 children. Jan. 24, 1880, his wife died. March 12, 1881, he married Catherine Brenneman. To this union were born 4 children. Oct. 14, 1914, his wife died. He leaves 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 4 sons, 1 daughter, and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Mar. 31, from the home of his son Daniel to the A. M. Church, Poole, Ont. Services by J. R. Bender at the house from II Cor. 5: 1-10, and at the church by Christian S. Zehr (John 11: 20-26) and Christian Schultz (Text, Matt. 24: 44) in German and Peter Boshart (Text, Heb. 13: 14) in English, after which the remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

    Bender.-Samuel M. Bender was born June 3, 1859, in Waterloo county, Ont.; died May 10, 1930; aged 70 y. 11 m. 7 d. He accepted Christ as his Savior in his seventeenth year and was a consistent member of the Amish Mennonite Church to the end. He was married to Magdalena Lebold on Jan. 9, 1883. She preceded him in death Jan. 8, 1929. One son and 3 daughters were born to them. He is survived by 1 son, 2 daughters, 12 grandchildren, and 1 brother. One daughter preceded him in death. Services were held at the home and at the Steinman A. M. Church by Bros. Chr. Gascho, Osiah Cressman, and D. H. Steinman. Texts, Phil. 1: 20, 21 and Heb. 3: 1-6. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

    Death of Samuel Bender - the death occurred at his home in Baden on Saturday last of Mr. Samuel Bender at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 7 days. The deceased had been in failing health for several years, but was only confined to bed for one day. The late Mr. Bender was born in Wilmot and spent the greater part of his life in farming. For some years he owned the farm now possessed by Mr. Em. Gerber in town. Leaving here he moved to Baden where he had charge of the telephone exchange. The deceased was a faithful adherent of the A.M. Church, a kindly friend to all, and was greatly esteemed by all who knew him. He was married to Magdalena Lebold, who predeceased him in January of last year. There are left to mourn him one son, Allen, Baden, and two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Jutzi, of Kingwood, and Mrs. David Steinman, of Vineland, also one brother, David M. Bender, of Cassel. The funeral was held on Tuesday forenoon to the Steinman A. M. Church and cemetery and was very largely attended.

    Bender.-Magdalena Lebold Bender, daughter of the late Christian and Barbara Lebold, was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., Can., Dec. 9, 1859. In her sixteenth year she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was received through water baptism by Bishop John Gascho into the Amish Mennonite Church in Waterloo Co., Ont. and was a faithful sister till she fell asleep in Christ Jesus. On Dec. 9, 1883, she was joined in holy wedlock to Bro. Samuel M. Bender of Waterloo Co., Ont., living happily together 46 years less one day. This union was blessed with four children, one son and three daughters. She died on Jan. 8, 1928; aged 69 y. 29 d. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, 1 son, 2 daughters (1 daughter having predeceased her), 12 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Burial was at Steinman Church, Jan. 11.
