    KAPPES, Audrey Kathryn 1924 - 2014 Passed away at her home at Heritage House in St. Jacobs at the age of 89 years. Loving wife of the late Howard Kappes. Dear mother of Dawn McIntosh of Toronto, David Kappes of Waterloo and Valerie Wigboldus (Dale Jantzi) of New Hamburg. Loving Grandmother of Whitney Wigboldus (Chris), Cole Wigboldus, Brendan Jantzi, and Connor Jantzi. Audrey will be remembered by her special friend Audrey Lawrence. Predeceased by her parents Wilfrid and Mildred Hamacher and her brother Robert. A private family interment will be held on Friday. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service to celebrate Audrey's life will be held at First Baptist Church, 306 Erb Street W., Waterloo on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Snell officiating.     Hamacher, Wildred Graham

    After a brief illness, at K-W Hospital on Sunday July 31, 1988, Wilfred Graham Hamacher, age 89 years of 70 King St., Heidelberg. He was born in Waterloo and was a retired postman in Waterloo with 42 years of service. He was one of the five original postmen in Waterloo. A charter member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo and a band master for five years of the K-W Air Cadets. Son of the late Francis and Elizabeth Hamacher. Husband of the former Mildred Lang; father of Bob of Waterloo and Audrey (Mrs. Howard Kappes) of Heidelberg; brother of Albert of London, Ontario; grandfather of five grandchildren and one granddaughter. Predeceased by one brother, John and two sisters, Florence and Katherine. Mr. Hamacher's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St., S. Waterloo, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Waterloo. Rev. Clayton Willhelm officiating. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Memorial contributions to the church building fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    HAMACHER: Mildred May (Formerly Lang). Went home to be with her lord on Friday Jan 21, 1994. Wife of the late Wilfred Hamacher. She was a charter member and faithful attendant at First Baptist Church, Waterloo. Her first love was children and for 20 years was leader of the Bible Busy Bees at the church. She was also soprano soloist on the church radio broadcast in the late 30's. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Howard Kappes (Audrey) of Heidelberg; son Robert of Waterloo and two grandchildren, Whitney and Cole Wigboldus. Also survived by one brother, Leonard Lang of Waterloo. Mrs. Hamacher's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 king St. W Waterloo today (Saturday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at 1 p.m. on Sunday transfer will be made to First Baptist Church for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. with pastor Bill Ball officiating.

    MRS. GRAHAM HAMACHER

    Mrs. Elizabeth Hamacher, wife of Graham Hamacher, passed away at her late residence, 181 Herbert street, Waterloo, last evening. in her 64th year. Although she had been ailing for some time, her death came unexpectedly. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs George Bolduc, the deceased was born in Hespeler but had lived in Waterloo practically all her life. She was a member of the St. John a Lutheran church

    Surviving are her husband, three sons, Wilfred, Waterloo, Albert, Kit chener and John, Oshawa, two daughters, Mrs L. Schaus, Waterloo, and Mrs D. Cale. Waterloo, and six grandchildren. Obe sister, Mrs. J. Winkler, predeceased her.

    The funeral will be held from her late residence Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, with interment in Wa terloo Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. C. S. Roberts will officiate.

    ALBERT LANG

    The death occurred at the K-W Hospital yesterday, Feb. 10th of Albert B. Lang, aged 60 years. He is survived by his wife, formerly Minnie Sherein, and six children, the latter all under age. There survives also three daughters by his first marriage, Mrs. M.B. Rickert, Mrs. J. H. Wuest and Mrs. E.C. Shiry, all of this city. Two brothers also survive, Rev. Herman Lang of Ashtabula, Ohio. Elwin N. Lang of New Kensington Pa., and two sisters, Mrs. (Rev.) W.A. Schoen and Mrs. W. T. Haigh, of New Kensington, Pa. The funeral will take place on Saturday afternoon at 2: 30 p.m. from the residence of J. H. Wuest, 161 Queen St. North to Mount Hope Cemetery.

    [It is to be noted that Albert is buried in an unmarked grave beside his two sons, Irwin and Joseph. Albert's plot is beside his Mother Elisabetha Boehmer Lang. Grave site confirmed Sept. 22 2003. Bev Moulton Albert Lang had a store called Raymond's Sewing Machines. This was located on Benton St. Berlin (Kitchener), beside Dunke's Grocery Store. He was a agent for Raymond's Sewing machines, he also sold sheet music and piano's. Albert played the organ for the silent movies in Berlin.]

    THE LATE GEORGE BOLDUC.

    The funeral of the late George Bolduc, whose death took place on Monday after an illness of but five weeks' duration, will be held on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the family residence on Allan street to St. John's Lutheran church for services and thence to Mount Hope cemetery where his remains will be laid to rest.

    In the passing of Mr. George Bolduc, the town of Waterloo loses one of the pioneer residents and an able and highly respected citizen. The late Mr. Bolduc was born in the then village of Preston, Ontario, in 1841, and was in his seventy-second year. When but a comparatively young man he became a resident of Waterloo, since which time he has resided here for over half a century. For forty five years he served in the employ of the late Jacob Roos and for the past nine years was employed at the furniture factory of Messrs. Woeller and Bolduc, the latter member of the firm being his son.

    He is survived by his sorrowing widow and three sons, Herman of Detroit and Albert and George of this town and two daughters, Mrs. John Winkler of Markham and Mrs. Graham Hamacher of this town.

    Eighteen grand children and twe great grand children also survive.

    MRS PETER LANG PASSES AWAY:

    One of Berlin's esteemed residents, Mrs. Peter Lang, nee Elizabetha Boehmer, passed away at her home, 295 King Street, on Saturday in her 69th year after suffering for a period extending over fully 25 years. She bore her affication with a true Christian fortitude. She was a faithful member of the Benton Street Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Lang were for a term of years residents in Rochester, but returned to Berlin about three years ago. The deceased is survived by a husband and five children, Mrs. (Rev) Schoen of Topeka, Kansas, Rev. Herman Lang, of Salem Ohio, Mrs. W. T. Haigh, Albert and Winnie at home. The surviving brothers are Messrs. August, Charles, Philip and Reinhardt Boehmer, all of Berlin. The funeral took place this afternoon from the residence to Mount Hope Cemetery followed by a service at the Benton Street Baptist Church.
