PADDOCK, THOMAS

Another of our number has passed to the Great Beyond, at his home on the 1^st concession of Puslinch, on Thursday, March 1, 1922. Mr. Paddock was 58 years of age, the oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Paddock of the 2^nd concession of Puslinch. He was united in marriage to Annie Steele, only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Steele, formerly of Aberfoyle. Mr. Paddock was of a quiet disposition and a highly respected and prosperous farmer. The beautiful home he had built is evidence of his industrious nature. His sorrowing wife and two daughters will greatly feel the loss of a loving husband and affectionate father. He also leaves four brothers, Edward of Beverly; George . . . (remainder cut off). The funeral took place from his residence on Friday to Killean Cemetery.

-Information from the death certificate: Born on lot 16, rear Gore of Puslinch on October 7, 1865, son of Richard Paddock and Grace McPhatter. Died on lot 17, rear Gore of Puslinch. Informant - Fred Paddock of R. R. #1, Puslinch.
