    NEUMEISTER, Earl Roy-After a courageous battle with myelofibrosis, Earl passed away on December 27, 2006, at Lisaard House in Cambridge. Earl was born February 10, 1945 in Stratford.

    He is survived by his wife Linda and his children Carrie Adamson (Blaine Davidson) of Markstay and Corey Neumeister of Kitchener and his step- children Terry (Debbie) Kraemer of Calgary, Alberta, Michelle (Bill Ridley) Forrest of Kitchener and Rick (Brenda) Kraemer of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, his brother Len (Erla) Neumeister of Linwood, sisters-in-law Charlotte (Murray) McTavish of Shakespeare and Judy Nicholl of Kitchener, brothers-in-law Tim (Angie) Rohrbacher of Waterloo, Tom (Tara) Rohrbacher of Shakespeare and Dan Racine of Toronto and his grand- children Damian, Dustin, Andre, Codi, Jesse, Jade, Kyro and Jorga. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Mary (Heyer) Neumeister, and two brothers, Harold (in infancy) and Bruce (1991).

    Earl was a retired employee of BF Goodrich. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and car racing.

    Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Friday, December 29, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and again before the funeral service which will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the funeral home where Rev. Ted Losch will officiate. Interment in Rush's Cemetery, Wellesley Township.

    Donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family.

    NEUMASTER, Milton - Of Route 1, Milverton, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening at his home.

    Was born in Mornington Township 59 years ago, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Neumaster. He had farmed at lot 18 con. 3 of Mornington Township all his life; a member of the Wellesley Community Missionary Church; also treasurer of the church ()Widths committee; also served on the council of the missionary committee.

    Beloved husband of Mary Heyer; dear tether of Earl and Leonard, both of Kitchener, Bruce of Shakespeare; brother of Viola (Mrs. Cecil Wilhelm) of Route 2, Petersburg; also our. lived by four grandchildren; predeceased by one son.

    Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley afternoon on Friday. The family will be in attendance at the funeral home on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9. At noon, Saturday, Jan. 31 the remains will be removed to the Wellesley Community Missionary Church for the funeral and committal service at 2:30. Rev. J. B. Thomson will officiate. Spring interment is Rush's cemetery, Wellesley Township.

    Mrs. Mary Neumeister, 80, died Sunday at the home of her son Leonard, of Elmira.

    Born in North Easthope Township, she was a daughter of the late John Heyer and the former Clara Schmidt. She and her husband, Milton Neumeister, who died in 1976, had farmed at RR 1 Milverton for 35 years before retiring to New Hamburg in 1977.

    She was a member of the Wellesley Alliance Church.

    Surviving are sons, Earl, of Kitchener, Leonard and wife Erla, of Elmira; a daughter-in- law, Charlotte Neumeister, of Shakespeare; and grandchildren Matthew, Melanie, Corey, Rachel and Caleb Neumeister; a brother, Edwin Heyer and wife Dorothy of New Hamburg; sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Pearl) Dorner, of New Hamburg, and Mrs. Eric (Florence) Kuehn, of Waterloo; and a sister-in-iaw, Magdalene Heyer, of New Hamburg; also nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons, Bruce in 1991, and Harold in infancy, and brothers, Henry, Roy, Arthur and Clayton Heyer.

    Friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Transfer will be made Wednesday to the Wellesley Alli- ance Church for a service at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Ted Losch will officiate. Burial will be in Rush's Cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Independent Missions Fund at Wellesley Alliance Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.

    Julius Neumeister

    WELLESLEY - Julius Neumeister, 78, of RR 1, Milverton, died yesterday at the K-W Hospital. Born at RR 2, Milverton, he had farmed in the area all his life. He was a member of Lisbon Evangelical United Brethren Church.
    Mr. Neumeister was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jobst Neumeister. His wife, the former Adeline Schmidt, predeceased him.
    He is survived by one son, Milton, of RR 1, Milverton, one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Viola) Wilhelm of RR 2, Petersburg; two brothers, George of Kitchener and Louis of RR 1, Linwood; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Schmidt of Milverton, Mrs. Annie Shader and Mrs. Louise Pfeffer, both of Kitchener, and eight grandchildren.
    The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley, until 7 p.m. tonight when removal will be made to RR 1, Milverton, where a short service will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. T.M. Losh of Lisbon Evangelical UB Church will conduct a memorial service at the church Saturday at 2:15 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

    John Heyer, N. Easthope, Fatally Hurt In Crash

    NEW HAMBURG, Sept. 9. Mr. John Heyer, a well known resident of North Easthope, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, Michigan City. Ind., following a motor accident while on a trip through Michigan and Indiana. The accident occurred on Tuesday and death came late Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Heyer. who accompanied her husband on the trip was also seriously hurt and is still in the hospital. Details of the accident are not available. The late Mr. Heyer was born 65 years ago and lived his entire life on the farm where he resided up till his death. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Clayton, Arthur and Edwin, at home, and Roy of Kitchener; also two daughters, Mary of Toronto and Pearl in Waterloo. One brother, David, of Vancouver, B. C., and three sisters. Mrs. Margaret Mohr of North Easthope, Mrs. Wm. Dewing of Mitchell and Mrs. Geo. Hinz of Logan. The funeral service will be held at the Oetzels Evangelical church. of which Mr. Heyer was a lifelong adherent. Burial will be made in Oetzels cemetery. A private service will be held at his late residence at 2 p.m., followed by a public service at the church at 2.30. Rev. K. Gretzinger will be the officiating clergyman.

    NEW HAMBURG - Mrs. John Heyer, 8I, of RR 3, New Hamburg, died Saturday at her home.

    Born in North Easthope Township, she was the former Clara Schmidt and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Balzer Schmidt. She lived in North Easthope all her life.

    She was a member of Oetzels Evangelical United Brethren Church. She was predeceased by her husband in 1938 and by three brothers and one sister.

    Surviving are four sons, Clayton, Edwin and Roy, all of RR 3, New Hamburg and Arthur of Wiseton, Sask., three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Dormer of North Easthope Township; Mrs. Eric (Florence) Kuehen of RR 3, Waterloo; Mrs. Milton (Mary) Neumeister of RR 1, Milverton; two sisters, Mrs. A. F. (Emma) Dorscht of New Hamburg and Mrs. Edward (Martha) Hartung of Gowanstown. There are 13 grandchildren.

    The body will be at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home until noon Wednesday when removal will be made to Oetzels EUB Church for. service at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Ronald Amy. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    MRS. HENRY HEYER.

    Catherine Mogk, widow of the late Henry Heyer, died early Sunday morning, June rith, 1916, at her home near Lingelbach Church, always having been in good health and her sickness being of only several days, the end came unexpected to the community. Her affliction was brought on by old age. She was born in North Easthope township on the old homestead, where she lived until shortly before her death. In 1858 she married Henry Heyer, who predeased her 34 years, leaving her in widowhood to care for a large family. This union was blessed with nine children. Three predeceased her, one dying in infancy In 1863 she was converted to God, joining the Oetzel Church. At the time of her death she was a member of the South Easthope Church. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical Association, alway having an open heart for God's cause. At the age of 76 years, 2 months, 15 days, she died resigned to God to her heavenly home. To mourn her loss she leaves two sons, John on the homestead, David in Alberta; four daugh. ters, Mrs. Martin Mohr, Mrs. John Werner and Mrs. Wm. Dewing, of North Easthope, and Mrs. Geo. Flinz of Logan; thirty-one grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host. of other relatives and friends. The funeral services were held on Tues. day, June 13th, in the Lingelbach Church, conducted by Rev. C. R. Kauth, assisted by Rev. S. E. Schrader, of Alsfeldt, and Rev, N.. Reibling, of Oetzel. Interment was made in the Oetzel cemetery.
