Theodore J. Trojan, 86, of 10 Dunham Ave., a resident of Kitchener for the past 53 years, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Germany, he was the last surviving member of the Frank Trojan family.

His marriage to Julianne Foelz, who surrives, took place in 1903. Mr. Trojan was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and of the Holy Name Society.

Surviving besides his wife are one son, Clemens Trojan of Detroit, and five daughters, Mrs. Hilda Oestreich, Mrs. Jerome (Rose) Wey, Marta, and Mrs. Roy (Marie) Weber, all of Kitchener and Mrs. Noel (Agnes) Allen of Montreal. One daughter, Gertrude, predeceased him in 1958.

Twenty-one grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, with prayers at 8:30 a.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, followed by requiem high mass at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's RC Church. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.

The body is at the funeral home where the rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Julianne Trojan, 91, of 10 Dunham Ave. died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born April 27, 1872 in Germany, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Foelz, and has lived in Kitchener for 58 years. She was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and was an honorary member of the Christian Mothers Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Trojan, on May 3, 1959, and by a daughter. Gertrude, in 1958.

Surviving are a son, Clemens of Detroit; five daughters, Mrs. Hilda Oestrich, Mrs. Jerome (Rose) Wey, Marta, and Mrs. Roy (Marie) Weber, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. Noel (Agnes) Allen of Montreal, 21 grand- children and 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Trojan was the last surviving member of her family.

The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the rosary will be said Friday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Saturday at 8:30 a.m., followed by requiem high mass at St. Mary's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will follow in Woodland RC Cemetery.
