Steckley, Simon \endash Suddenly at his residence, 14 Mill St. W., Milverton, aged 71 years; husband of the late Lena Brenneman; dear father of William L. of New Hamburg, Roy John of Cambridge (Preston), Mrs. Melvin (Patricia) Jutzi, Petersburg; Mrs. John (Pauline) Gerber, Milverton; dear brother of John, Wellesley; Jonathan of Tavistock, Mrs. Mary Albrecht, Milverton; Mrs. Cornelius (Tena) Zehr, Newton; also surviving are 14 grandchildren.

Friends will be received at McMane's, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Removal will be made to the North Poole Mennonite Church for a memorial service on Friday, March 30 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mennonite Mission Board.

Simon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Steckley, was born in Elma Twp., Ont., Mar, 11, 1902; died suddenly at Milverton, Ont., Mar. 27, 1973; aged 71 y. 16 d. On June 30. 1927, he was married to Lena Brenneman, who preceded him in death on Sept. 27, 1965. Surviving are 2 sons (William L. and Roy J.), 2 daughters (Patricia - Mrs. Melvin Jantzi and Pauline - Mrs. John Gerber), 14 grandchildren, 2 brothers {John and Jonathan), and 2 sisters (Mrs. Mary Albrecht and Tena - Mrs. Cornelius Zehr). He was a member of the Poole Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Mar. 30, in charge of Amsey Martin and Herbert Schultz; interment in the Poole Mennonite Cemetery.

Steckley, Lena, daughter of Daniel and Catherine (Albrecht) Brenneman, was born in Poole, Ont., Aug. 1, 1965; at the Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., Sept. 27, 1965; aged 60 y. 1 m. 26 d. On June 30, 1927, she was married to Simon Steckley, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (William L. and Roy J.) 2 daughters (Patricia-Mrs. Melvin J. Jantzi and Pauline-Mrs. John Y. Gerber), one sister (Clara-Mrs. Aaron Ropp), 2 brothers (William J. and Lloyd B.), and 10 grandchildren. She was a member of the Poole Church, where funeral services were held Sept. 30, in charge of Herbert Schultz.
