    FISCHER, Ruth (Tiegs) Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Walter Fischer (1995) and the late Wallace Tiegs (1965). Loving mother of Richard (Judy) Tiegs, Kathy (Ray) Voisin and Jim (Barb) Tiegs. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Lori), Mark (Lori), Katie (Adam), Shelby (Brent) and Laura (Matthew) and great-grandmother of Max, Cole, Zoe, Sloane, Jax and Dominic. Step-mother to Wayne, Linda and the late John Fischer. Dear sister of Irene (Don) Gillard and predeceased by her parents, Rev. Frank and Anna Malinsky and step-mother Thusnelda and siblings Wilfred Lindsey, August Malinsky, Rev. Walter Malinsky, Grant Malinsky, Marie Ruppel and Vera Cook. Ruth was an active long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Ruth's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (322 East Ave. Kitchener) followed by a reception at the church.     MALINSKY, The Rev. Dr. Frank - At K-W Hospital, Saturday, April 28, 1984, Dr. Frank Malinsky, age 94 years, of 71 Centre St., Elmira. The Rev. Malinsky's first call was to St. Peter's, Stratford, Ont., (1912 to 1917). He then served Normanby-Howick, Mount Forest for 10 years and then Seebach's Hill near Sebringville in 1927 to 1928. On Aug. 21, 1929 he was installed as Pastor of St. Paul's, Elmira and Trinity, Floradale. In addition to his parish duties, he served the Ontario District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod as secretary from 1918 to 1921 and as president from 1921 to 1948. He retired from St. Paul's in 1963 and from Trinity in 1972.

    Beloved husband of Thusnelda Schaus; dear father of Wilfred of New Market, Marie (Mrs. Roland Ruppel) of Elmira, Ruth (Mrs. Wallace Tiegs) and Vera (Mrs. Robert Cook), both of Kitchener, Walter of Baltimore, Md., Irene (Mrs. Don Gillard) of Barrie and Grant of Ottawa. Also surviving are 18 grand-children and 17 great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by one son, August, in 1921 and his first wife, Anna in 1933.

    Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until Tuesday at noon, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira, for funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Mervin Huras officiating. Interment Elmira Union cemetery.

    Sudden Death Of Mrs. F. Malinsky

    Gloom Cast Over Community By Passing of Beloved And Respected Citizen

    Following an illness of two weeks with typhoid fever, Mrs. F. Malinsky, wife of the Rev. F. Malinsky, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, passed away at the K.-W. hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Although it was known that her condition was serious the death was somewhat unexpected and it was a real shock to the entire community to hear of her death. She has lived here with her husband for about five years and during that time has won the admiration and respect of a legion of friends. Her untiring efforts in church work and other worthy causes were pronounced.

    She was born at Ravenna, Mich., 44 years ago, a daughter of Mrs. Krey and the late Mr. August Krey. In 1913 she was married at Conklin, Mich., to Rev. F. Malinsky, who survives with six children, Wilfred, Marie, Ruth, Vera, Walter and Irene, all at home. Besides her mother four sisters and five brothers also survive.

    The funeral will be held to-morrow afternoon (Friday) with a private service at St. Paul's parsonage at two o'clock, followed by a public service at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. A. Orzen of Kitchener will officiate. Interment will be made in the Elmira cemetery. The remains are at present at Dreisinger funeral home and will remain there until Friday morning when they will be moved to the residence. Flowers are greatefully declined.
