Obituary for Lorenzo Lesperance


Passed away on Friday, February 22, 2002 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Darlene Lesperance, much loved father of Cheryl her husband Sherman Penney, Gramps to Kerri and Nitin, Krista and Tim and Kim; Linda and her husband Dane Goebel, Gramps to Shawn and Niki, Ken, Stacey and Jon, Great Poppa to Maria and Kaden; Sharon and her husband Kevin Karley, Gramps to Brandon and Jordan; Larry Lesperance and Holly Morrell, Gramps to Amy Lewis, Great Grandfather to Jared, Jessica and Dylan, Grandfather to Abby, Breanna, and Cole; Popsy to Shelly and her husband Maurice Price. He will be sadly missed by his many special friends who helped him through some difficult times.

A celebration service of Corky's life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (749-8467) on Monday, February 25, 2002 at 10am. A reception to share memories to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Maryhill.

Cremation has taken place.

Cork took pride in being a truck driver for Husband Transport for 40 + years and achieving his 25 year Safe Driving Award. Many long happy hours of horses and kids were spent on the home farm of Holiday Ranch where he lived until his final weeks of life.
