SHILLING, Stella M. - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Horace. Dear mother of Evelyn Lobsinger and Doris Keller (Ralph); lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her sister, Helen Berlet (Ed). Cremation has taken place with a private family gathering to be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy to St. Mary's Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Henry Shilling - Henry John (Harry) Shilling, 82, of 101 King St. West, died yesterday at K-W Hospital. Born Sept. 2, 1872, in Elmdon, England, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shilling. He came to Canada in 1910 and was employed at Snyder's Ltd., Waterloo. He was a member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Association. Surviving are three sons, Percy and William of Kitchener and Horace of Bridgeport; four daughters, Mrs. William Checkley of Guelph and Mrs. William Weller, Mrs. Leo Sawesky and Mrs. Raymond Forsythe, all of Toronto. There are 28 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Ellen Maria Williamson, and two sons, Joseph and Harry, predeceased him. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm, Rev. Canon C.C.W. Mixer will officiate. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Mrs. Henry J. Shilling - Mrs. Henry J. Shilling passed away at her home, 19 Henry Street, early today. The deceased was 64 years of age and was born on July 19, 1871 in London, England, a daughter of the late Nicholas William. She came to Canada in 1912. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. There survive, her husband, four sons and four daughters. The children are William, Percy and Horace, all of Kitchener; Joseph, London, England; Mrs. Raymond Forsythe, Atwood, Tenn.; Mrs. William Checkley, Guelph; Mrs. W. Weller, Toronto, and Mrs. Leo Sawesky, Toronto. One son predeceased her. There are 27 grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2: 30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home to Woodland Cemetery, with Rev. J.N.H. Mills in charge. The remains will rest at the residence, 19 Henry Street, until Thursday noon when they will be removed to the Funeral Home.
