Mrs. James Stewart

The funeral takes place in Elmira this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock from the Dreisinger funeral parlors of the remains of the late Mrs. James Stewart, who passed away on Monday at the home of her son, Mr. Clayton Stewart of Barrie. The service will be held in Wesley United church at which Rev. N. D. McKinnon of Norval, Ont., a former pastor of the deceased lady, will speak. Interment will take place in the Elmira cemetery. Mrs. Stewart, who had not been in good health for some time, was about 80 years of age. She was a former resident with her family here, having resided in Elmira for about fifteen years. Some five years ago she gave up housekeeping and has been living with her children, most of the time being spent with her son in Barrie and with her daughter at Alma. Previous to her coming to Elmira the family resided on the Fourth Concession of Peel. She is survived by four sons, Clayton, Barrie; Stanley, Saskatoon; Morley, Saskatoon; Dr. A. P. Stewart, Inwood, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. E. Trask, Alma. One son, Dr. Ralph Stewart, Elmira, predeceased her.
