    Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2009 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 67.
    Beloved wife of Barry for 48 years. Loving mother of Wendy Lynn Rowe (Chris Jones) and Scott H. Wakely (Lily). Great grandmother of Benjamin Wakely Rowe and Hunter Darby Wakely and Hudson Loran Wakely. Dear sister to Mike Burnett (Joan) of Niagara Falls, Shirley Horner (Carl), Flesherton and Jean Grenier of Kitchener. Sister-in-law to Noel Wakely and his wife Charlene of Collingwood, Edna Byers of Kitchener and Helen (Tom) Scott of Meaford.

    Marnie will be remembered by Patricia and Chris Yesh and their family of Fort Wayne, Indiana and dear friend Valerie Freund (Wayne) and Beth Lopez and family of BC.

    Marnie retired as a teacher from the Waterloo Catholic District School Board in 2000 after 30 years service.

    Marnie's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 1 pm on Monday, May 4, 2009 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception.
    Rev. Janis Hamalainen of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church officiating.

    Cremation to follow.

    As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

    SEGUIN, A. Lorraine - Died peacefully, at Sunnyside Home, on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the age of 88. Loving mother of Marnie (Barry) Wakely of Kitchener, and Michael (Joan) Burnett of Niagara Falls. Grandmother to Wendy Rowe and Scott (Lily) Wakely, all of Kitchener, Kristy (Allan) Kirby, Jay Burnett and Chad (Ronda) Burnett, all of Niagara Falls. Great-grandmother to Benjamin, Hunter, Kristopher, Kassidy, Brock, Jessica, Michael, Ellie and Alicia. Step-mother of Beth (Richard) Lopez, Robert Seguin and Marc Seguin. She will also be remembered by the Byers family and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald Seguin and brother Emmerson (Chrissy) McKay. Lorraine will be dearly missed by her friends in the Sweet Adelines. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and a longtime employee of the A&P Stores in Kitchener, London and Hanover. Lorraine's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 today (Monday) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service for Lorraine will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
