The family of John W. Marsland announces with sadness that John Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's General Hospital, on Sunday, Oct. 22, 1995.

Born in Cornwall, Ont., January 11, 1924. John was retired sales and marketing manager for Marsland Engineering Limited and Audio Transformer Co. Limited, both of Waterloo. He also taught Marketing at Conestoga College in Kitchener.

Beloved husband of Joanne (Smith) Marsland. A wonderful father to twin sons, George and James Marsland of Toronto. Survived by sister-in-law, Florence Marsland, Ruth Marsland, Margaret Debus and by many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Miriam Marsland of Kitchener; his brothers, Stanley (Waterloo), Walter (Kitchener), Hugh (Chicago) and Eric (Kitchener).

John dearly loved his family and many friends. He was an award-winning gardener and enjoyed many special times and seasons at his second home in Southampton, Ont. An avid card player, reader and welcoming host he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
