    GASCHO, Lyle John Passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener surrounded by his family. Lyle resided in Kitchener and was formerly of Wellesley. He was born 81 years ago in Wellesley Township and was the son of the late Aaron and Barbara (Lebold) Gascho. Beloved husband of Sandra (Schaaf) Gascho who he married July 8, 1961. Loving father of Debbie Heyer and friend Jeff of Waterloo, Brian and Lisa Gascho of Kitchener and Anita Bender of Waterloo. Dear grandfather of Stacy and Mark Weber, Marsha and Jason Holst, Nathan Gascho, Jordan Bender. Remembered by his sisters Elaine Thomas, Geraldine Gascho both of Kitchener, brother David and Agnes Gascho of Calgary, Alberta and a number of nieces and nephews. Lyle was predeceased by son-in-law Donald Heyer, sister Thelma and Lee Doerr and brother-in-law Mervyn Thomas. Lyle was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley where he had been a trustee and operated the elevator and was involved with the construction of the new addition in 1992. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed woodworking, construction and was happy to pass his knowledge on to others. His evenings were spent watching Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy after the news. Lyle and Sandy enjoyed many years of traveling Canada and the United States in their motorhome. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley with Pastor Andy Schroth officiating.     GASCHO, Aaron - Of 428 Erb St. E., St Agatha, passed away suddenly Tuesday at K-W Hospital.

    Was born in Baden 79 years ago, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Gascho. A member of At. Agatha Mennonite Church; was employed with Oscar Wiles and sons Construction, retiring nine years ago.

    Beloved husband of the former Barbara Lebold; dear father of Lyle of Route 3, Listowel, David of Calgary, Alta., Elaine (Mrs. Mervyn Thomas), Thelma (Mrs. Lee Doerr), both of Kitchener and Geraldine Gascho of St. Agatha; dear brother of Emma (Mrs. Lloyd Richert), Edna (Mrs. John Mosher) both of Kitchener, Barbara (Mrs. Allan Litwiller) of Waterloo, Fannie (Mrs. David Ropp) of Tavistock, Irene (Mrs. Lorn Roth) of New Hamburg; also survived by 12 grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.

    Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. The family will friends this evening from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. At 9a.m. Friday December 10 the remains will be removed to St. Agatha Mennonite Church for service at 10: 30. Rev. Nelson Martin will officiate. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

    Expressions of sympathy may be shown by contributions to the Ontario Heart Fund.

    Gascho.- Aaron, son of David and Barbara (Lichty) Gascho, was born in Waterloo Co., June 23, 1897; died of a heart attack at St. Agatha, Dec. 7, 1976; aged 79 y. On Nov. 9, 1930, he was married to Barbara Lebold, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Lyle and David), 3 daughters (Elaine, Thelma, and Geraldine), 12 grandchildren, and 5 sisters (Emma, Edna, Barbara, Fannie, and Irene). He was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Dec. 10, in charge of Nelson Martin and Allan Schwartzentruber; interment in St. Agatha Mennonite Church Cemetery.

    At her residence, on Friday, Aug 16, 1985, Barbara (Lebold) Gascho, of Homewood Avenue Kitchener, a resident of St. Agatha for over 43 years.

    Loving wife of the late Aaron Gascho, who predeceased her in 1976; dear mother of Lyle and his wife Sandra of Wellesley, David and his wife Agnes of Calgary, Alta., Elaine (Mrs. Mervyn Thomas), Thelma (Mrs. Lee Doerr) and Geraldine Gascho, all of Kitchener. Also survived by one sister, Lucinda (Mrs. Milton Boshart) of Baden. Thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, one brother and one sister.

    A member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church and the WMSC.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kichener, after 2 p.m. today.     Gascho.-David E., son of the late Bishop and Mrs. John Gascho, was born near Baden, Ont., June 18, 1867; died at his home on Aug. 12, 1944, following an illness of two days; aged 77 y. 1 m. 24 d. In 1889 he was united in marriage to Barbara Lichti, of St. Agatha, Ont. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, 2 sons (Aaron, St. Agatha; Herbert, Lowville, N.Y.) 5 daughters (Emma, Mrs. Lloyd Rickert, Hespeler; Edna, Castorland, N.Y.; Barbara, Mrs. Allan Litwiller, Waterloo; Fannie, Mrs. David Ropp, Tavistock; Irene, Mrs. Loren Roth, Tavistock), 3 brothers (John and Menno, Baden, Ont.; Daniel, Wellman, Ia.), 2 sisters (Susanna, Mrs. John Steinman, Wellesley, Ont.: Katie, Mrs. David Jantzi, Au Gres, Mich.), 28 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. One daughter (Nancy, Mrs. Noah Erb) predeceased him about one year ago. Five children died in infancy. In his youth he accepted Christ as his Saviour and was received into church fellowship, at the Wilmot A.M. Church, where he worshiped all his life. He was very fond of singing. One week before his death, when all the children were together, he requested the singing of the song "God Be with You Till We Meet Again." Bro. Peter Nafziger conducted the funeral service. Text, 1 Pet. 1: 4, 5. His gain is our loss.

    Lebold. - John Lebold was born in Waterloo Co., Ontario, October 12, 1870; died at East Zorra, Oxford Co., Ont., March 14, 1919; aged 48 y 5 m. 2 d. In his early youth he united with the A. M Church in Waterloo Co., Ont., and was a true and faithful Christian to the end. On November 30, 1897, he was married to Sister Mary Bender who with 1 son and three daughters now survive him, besides his aged mother, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Buried at East Zorra A. M. Church March 17 where a large number of friends had gathered to pay their last tribute to the departed loved one. Services by the Brethren Chris. Kropf from Phil. 1 : 20-23; Chris. Zohr from John 9: 4, Dan Jutzi from Luke 2: 29. May God help us all so we can meet again at the right hand of the throne of God, which were the last words he said to the undersigned.

    Lebold-Mary, third daughter of Jacob M. and Maria (Ruby) Bender, was born in Oxford Co., Ont., Sept. 24, 1871; died at her home in the same township on Feb. 6, 1926; aged 54 y. 4 m. 13 d. In her maiden days she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized and received into church fellowship by her father, the late Bishop Jacob M. Bender, and was a faithful sister till she was called to her reward. On Nov. 30, 1897, she was joined in holy wedlock to John Lebold of Waterloo Co., Ont. This union was blessed with 1 son (Norman) and 3 daughters (Mary, Barbara, and Lucinda), all at home. On March 14, 1919, her husband was called to the great beyond. She leaves 1 son, 3 daughters, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. Her death was caused by cancer, which she bore in Christian patience and fortitude. She had a hearty desire to be with her Savior, commending her dear children to the heavenly Father's care. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the East Zorra A.M. Cemetery on Feb. 9, when services were conducted Bros. Peter Litwiller of Baden (text, II Tim. 4: 6-8). D.H. Steinman of Baden (text, Tit. 2: 11-14), and D.S. Jutzi of Tavistock (text, Jno. 14: 18). A brother.
