    EBY, Clayton J. - Peacefully. on Thursday, March 28, 1996 at St. Mary's Hospital, in his 81st year. of Waterloo.

    Mr. Eby was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Waterloo.

    Dear husband of Adele (nee Father of Richard Eby and his wife Harmina and John Eby and his wife Susan, all of Waterloo; grandfather of Sheri East and her husband Darren of Brantford. Joel and his friend Mary of Ottawa. Jennifer Eby and Kathryn Eby, both of Waterloo. Sadly missed by his many friends and relatives.

    Predeceased by his parents; his sister, Phyllis and his three brothers, Albert. Isaac and Ralph.

    At Mr. Eby's request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, Rev. Don Stroh officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Cremation has taken place.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John's Lutheran Church or St. Mary's Hospital would be appreciated by the family and can be made by calling the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, 745.8445.

    Isaac Eby

    Death came suddenly to a native of Waterloo County in the person of Isaac Eby who died at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Milton Cober, Bingeman street. Kitchener, on July 15, following a heart attack. Deceased was born in Waterloo County but later moved to Hanover, where he spent 30 years, returning to Kitchener five years ago. He was In his 82nd year.

    There survive besides his wife, nee Elizabeth Bergey of Plattsville, to whom he was married 61 years ago. 5 son, and two daughters. Stephen Eby of Woodstock. Ill. Herbert of Hanover. Bertrum of Chesley, Edmond of Kitchener and Hugh of Pingree, North Dakota, Mrs. Edgar Schlimm of Listowel predeceased him last year. One brother. Mr. Moses Eby of Aurora. Ill. also survives. Also 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

    The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Parlors to Woodland cemetery for interment. Rev. N. H. Schwalm pastor of the Breslau M. B. C. Church was In charge of the Service.

    John Laschatzki

    The death occurred at the family residence, 35 Strange street, at Kitchener on Thursday, of John Laschatzki, aged 75 years. The deceased was born in Bergfrieden, E. Prussia, Germany on November 28, 1856 and emigrated to Canada in 1889. He settled in Kitchener and resided here since that time. He was predeceased by his first wife in 1901 and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carolina Laschatzki, three sons, Fred and Henry of Detroit and John of Kitchener and three daughters, Mrs. Edward Forester, Detroit; Miss Minnie Laschatzki, Detroit and Mrs. Edward Eby, Kitchener and by four step children, Miss Minnie Roberts, New York City; Miss Fannie Roberts, Detroit; Rev. Clifford Roberts, Waterloo and William Roberts, Kitchener. There are fourteen grandchildren surviving. The funeral was held on Sunday, September 29.
