    MUMA, Gordon Leroy Passed away on Sunday, May 16, 1982, at his residence, 12 Short St., Cambridge, in his 63rd year. Gord retired in 1977, after 36 years as a police inspector, with the Waterloo Regional Police Force. Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Kivell; dear fatherof Cal of Guelph and Gary of Wasaga Beach; dear brother of Mrs. Belva Nichols of Cambridge. Also survived by three grandchildren. Resting at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew St., Cambridge,where family will receive friends, this evening, from 7-9 and on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral and committal services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 19, at 11 a.m. Interment Ayr cemetery.

    George Nathan Muma Passes - George Nathan Muma died Friday tin South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was 93. For the last seven years of his life, Mr., Muma had been a resident of the Eventide Home in Galt. Born in Teeterville, near Simcoe; he spent his early years in the Innerkip Drumbo and Ayr districts, settling in Ayr. He was, for many years, an employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Predeceased by his wife, the former Jane Isabella Foreman, and two sons, William and Arnold, he Is survived by a son, Gordon of Galt; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Belva) Nichols of Ayr; one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Sarah) Grigg, Simcoe; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

    The Funeral

    The funeral was held from the W. O. Ball Funeral Home, Ayr, on Sunday at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. D. E. Willis of Knox United Church, assisted by Major Hustler of the Eventide Home, officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons, Garry Muma, Calvin Muma, John Muma, Jack Nichols and Gerald Muma, and a nephew, Harold Muma. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.

    Notes:

    Mrs. George N. Muma - Mrs. George N. Muma, a resident of Ayr for the past 26 years, died suddenly at her home on Friday evening, in her 75th year. Born in Bright, she was the former Jane Isabella Foreman, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Foreman. She was married in Chesterfield on November 8, 1905. Prior to moving to Ayr, the family resided in Innerkip for some time, where Mr. Muma was an employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Surviving, besides her husband are three sons and one daughter: William of Drumbo, Gordon and Arnold of Galt, and Mrs. Carl Nicoll (Belva ) of Toronto; three brothers James and John of Bright and Blake of Ayr. Five grandchildren also survive. Funeral service was held from the W. O. Ball Funeral Parlor on Monday afternoon, with Rev. W. D. Goodger officiating. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Arthur Underwood Clarence W. Davis, George Keachie, Arthur Hawes, James H. Grimmer and James Cruickshank.
