    Elmer Hiller

    Elmer Hiller of Kitchener, a native of Perry's Corners, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, November 19th. He was in his 87th year. Born in Blenheim Township. he was a son of the late Frederick Hiller and Eliza Jane Wait. He farmed for many years at Perry's Corners before retiring to Manley Street, Ayr. Within the past two years, he and his wife moved to Kitchener. Mr. Hiller was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. During the 1920's he was a noted hockey player and was a member of Ayr's squad which was one of the top O.H.A. teams in the province. Survived by his wife, the former Lillian Kelley and a daughter of Joyce of Toronto. Predeceased by brothers, William, Roy and Herbert and sister, Elva May. Resting at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, where funeral service will be held today (Wed.) at 2: 00 p.m. Rev. George Saunders of Ayr, assisted by Rev. D. E. Willis of Hagersville, will officiate. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
