Mrs. John A. Kennedy

On Tuesday Mrs. John A. Kennedy, a resident of the community for over 50 years, passed away in Willett Hospital, Paris, after an illness of eight months. The former Mary Amelia Mighton, she was born near Verschoyle a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mighton. Following their marriage, the couple resided on the farm south of Ayr for the past half century. The late Mrs. Kennedy was a valued member of Richwood United Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are daughters, Mrs. Stuart (Mary) Cowan and Mrs. Wallace (Helen) Stewart; sons, Robert, Warren and John, and a sister, Mrs. John J. (Eva) Morrison.

The Funeral

Funeral service for mother and daughter was held today (Thursday) at the R. W. Rumble Funeral Home, Princeton, with interment in Ayr Cemetery.
