    Andrew Murray Hall Passes - A Drumbo area man, Andrew Murray Hall, RR. 1, Drumbo, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, April 29th. He was 66. The deceased was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hall. He was born and lived all his life in the Drumbo area. He was a farmer and worked on farms up until his retirement last year. A bachelor, he made his home with a brother-in-law, Wallace Elmes. Surviving are a nephew, Ross Elmes, and a niece, Miss Dorothy Elmes, both at home. He rested at the William Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, until service there on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. D. E. Willis of Knox United Church, Ayr, officiated. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery.

    Demise of Oldest Resident - To have lived to the age of nearly 94 years, about 80 of which were spent in Dumfries, is a record that falls to a lot of very few, Mr. Richard Deans of North Dumfries, who passed away on Friday, attained that distinction. He was born in Scotland and came to Canada when in his boyhood, settling with his parents in the section now known as Keg Lane, near Paris. He had, however, resided on the farm on which he died, lot 28, concession 10, North Dumfries, for a period of about 65 years. In 1862 he married, his bride being Miss Euphemia tenant, who predeceased him some years. The family surviving comprises Mrs. Andrew Hall, Blenheim; Matthew K., Waterloo tp.; Mrs. Cameron Marshall, N. D.; Mrs. Thos. Hall, N. D.; Mrs. Jas. Henderson, Waterloo Tp., and James and Edith at home. In religion the deceased was a Presbyterian and attended Stanley street Church, Ayr, before the union. Politically he was a staunch Liberal, and also took a deep interest in municipal affairs, being a member of the township council for a number of years. He was highly respected in the community and a good neighbor. The funeral took place on Monday, when interment was made in the Ayr cemetery, Rev. J. J. Brown conducting the service. The pallbearers were Messrs. Thos. and And. Hall, Jas. Henderson, Stephen Marshall, and Matthew K. and James Deans.

    Description: Will for Andrew Hall:

    I Andrew Hall of the township of Blenheim in the county of Oxford and Province of Canada yeoman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all former last wills and testaments and all writings testamentary by me at any time heretoformade. My will is first that my funeral charges and just debts shall be paid by my executrix and executor hereinafter named. I give and devise to my dearly beloved wife Isabella Hall the East Room and the two bedrooms adjoining and belonging thereto in the dwelling house wherein I now dwell situate and being on lot number six in the thirteenth concession of the said township of Blenheim together with sufficient furniture to furnish the same comfortably and her boarrd and feed for for the term of her natural life and also one cow and four sheep and keep for the same. I also give and devise to my said wife an annuity or clear yearly sum of eighty dollars to be paid yearly in lieu of dower out of my real estate. I give and bequeath unto each of my sons Thomas Hall Stephen Hall and Andrew Hall the sum of one dollar to be paid to them immediately after my decease by my executor and executrix hereinafter named. I give and bequeath unto each of my daughters Jane Perry wife of George Perry and Isabella Marshall wife of Anthony Marshall the sum of one dollar to be paid to them immediately after my decease by my executor and executrix hereinafter named. I give and bequeath unto each of my grandchildren Isabella, Jane and Agnes Brown children of my daughter Margaret deceased who was in her lifetime wife of Martin Brown now also deceased the sum of one dollar to be paid to them immediately after my decease by my executor and executrix hereinafter named. I give and devise to my son William Hall the homestead and farm whereon I now reside containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less being part of number six in the thirteenth concession of the said township of Blenheim and also all my stock farming implements farm produce and all other my personal estate and effects not hereinbefore bequeathed of which I may be possessed at the time of my decease which remains after payment of my funeral charges debts and testamentary expenses to hold to him his heirs and assigns forever subject nevertheless to the above mentioned devise of the East Room and two bedrooms with furniture for the same to my wife and subject also to the payment of the above mentioned annuity to my said wife. And further it is my wish and desire that my sons Thomas and Stephen Hall shall help and assist my son Andrew Hall And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son William Hall to be executor and my said wife Isabella to be the executrix of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I the said Andrew Hall have to this my last will and testament contained on these two sheets of paper set my hand and seal as follows to the first sheet I have subscribed my name and to this the last sheet I have subscribed my name and affixed my seal this sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.     Died, Near Ayr, on Monday evening, at 12 o'clock, Isabella, Wife of John Robson, Sen., Aged 63 Years, 6 Months and 8 Days. Funeral. On Thursday, the 14th inst., at 1 o'clock, p.m., from her Husband's Residence, to the Stanley Street Burying Ground, Ayr. Ayr, Jan. 12th, 1875.

    On Monday evening, the 19th inst., Mrs John Robson, wife of John Robson, senr. also departed, in her 64th year. Up to the last few months Mrs Robson had enjoyed good health, but since then she has gradually failed, breathing her last at 12 o'clock on Monday evening. An amiable, chrtstian woman, a good wife and loving mother, she leaves behind her a host of friends.
