Mrs. Weiler, formerly of Waterloo, passed away peacefully, at A.R. Goudie Eventide Home, on Friday, Nov. 22, 1996, in her 97th year. Gladys was a member of St. Agnes RC Church, Waterloo and for over 60 years was a member of the Catholic Women's League. For many years she enjoyed bridge with her many friends and was an enthusiastic member of the Waterloo Adult Recreation Centre. Loving mother of Bill and his wife Sandy of Waterloo and Marjorie McCauley and her husband Tom of Baden. Cherished grandmother of Kevin and Linda, Terry, Shelley, Jeff and Lisa, Mike and Kim Weiler; John and Diann Baer and Daniel Baer; Mary Lynn and Paul Winkler; Greg and Barbara Joan McCauley; Kathleen and Tom Fischer; Joan and Shaun Roberts and Robert McCauley. Will also be missed by her 21 great-grandchildren. Sister of Tom of Kirkland Lake, Norman and his wife Helen and Mae Flach, all of Hanover. Predeceased by her husband, George in 1981; her parents, William and Louise Lambertus; an infant daughter, Muriel; a brother, Walter and a sister, Clara Reid. Mrs. Weiler's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10: 30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m. (Tuesday) at St. Agnes RC Church, Waterloo, Alex McCauley, CR, officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
