    Miss Annie Y Rendall

    A member of the Bell Telephone Pioneer Club, Miss Annie Y. Rendall of Plattsville passed away at Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, June 20th. She was in her 89th year. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Rendall, she was born in Blenheim Township. For a time she was a store bookkeeper and then served many years in the former Bell Telephone office in Plattsville. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Milne and Miss Hazel J. Kendall, both of Plattsville. Predeceased by a brother Dr. Stanley D. Rendall of Toronto. Funeral service was held at the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville on Thursday. Rev. Harold Pillen officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.

    Notes:

    Mrs. William Rendall - The death of Mrs. William Rendall, prominent and highly respected resident of Plattsville, occurred on Thursday, Sept. 5th, in the Brantford hospital. Mrs. Rendall was in her 68th year. Deceased had not been enjoying good health for several years past. Several weeks ago she underwent an operation from which she was making good progress towards recovery, when she suffered a stroke from which she never rallied. She was a member of the United Church and also of the W. M. S., where she took a kindly interest and was a willing worker. She was a kind neighbor and will be missed by a large circle of friends. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Annie, at home; Mrs. Landseer Milne of Platteville, Hazel of Toronto, and one son, Stanley, also of Toronto, The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from her late residence, Platteville, with interment in the Ayr Cemetery.
