Laverne Mast

HESPELER, Laverne Mast, 103 Queen St. E., died Friday, at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt, after a lengthy illness. He was 60. He was born in Wisconsin, Aug. 27, 1910, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mast and had been a resident of Hespeler, for 55 years. Until his illness, he had been employed at Fromm Brothers in Galt. His wife, the former Hazel Chapman, predeceased him in 1966. He is survived by several cousins. The body will be at the Nelson Funeral Home, Hespeler, after noon on Sunday. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Monday, at 2 p.m., by Rev. Wilfred Fearn of St. Luke's United Church. Interment will be in Preston cemetery.
