    Of 419 Church St., (Preston) Cambridge, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 1973, Andrew (Scottie) Smith, beloved husband of Frances Minnie Coakley and dear father of Donald Coakley of Toronto, in his 68th year. Mr. Smith was born in Scotland and had lived in Preston, for 50 years. He was a retired custodian of the Preston high school; member of St. John's Anglican Church, member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion 126, served in the Second World War, serving overseas with the HLI and the Black Watch. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston, where a private family funeral service will be conducted, Friday, at 2 p.m. Interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
